The War in Iraq is Wrong

Posted on 04/09/2003 9:46:29 AM PDT by Jonathan AG

Ban me, but have the courage to accept the truth.

This War is wrong. Many innocent Iraqis have died. Many Americans have died.

Iraq is in chaos. No food. No water. No power.

I don't care if staged events involving a few criminals and looters make the people appear to be happy. Ask the ones who had their lives destroyed by American bombs.

There are no WMDs. America will remain in Iraq long enough to:

A) plunder its resouces

B) ensure a Bush election victory in spite of massive deficits and a terrible economy.

THIS WAR IS WRONG.

One question to you my friend...

Is the world a better place without Saddam Hussein in power?

Johnny - Interesting perspective. On what proof would you say that we intend to plunder the resources / believe that this is a political cover up?

Was it the food & water drops to starving people that convinced you? Was it the Iraqi chemical weopons that made you believe it?

For the record - and it's just my opinion, I would hope that we take a percentage of oil profits to pay for the cost of the service we provided these people.

Boy are you gonna feel stupid about this little gem when you grow up. Try this:

1. Take the ring out of your nose, eyebrow, genetalia, wherever...

2. Graduate...

3. Get a real job...

4. Pay real taxes...

5. Have a real family...

You'll change your tune.

Are you will to make a bet on your first statement....no I think you won't
A) Plunder its Resourses (Please explain, I do not have a clue what you mean)
B) Ensure a Bush Victory... Sounds good to me...

Living in fear for your family and having no hope is a greater cost! War, in this case, to save the people of Iraq, was necessary.

Ask the ones who had their lives destroyed by Saddam. We tried the non-violent route and it didn't work. At least our bombs will stop dropping. Saddam was perpetual terror. Get it?

True...it is almost as much fun as the DUh thread running. It's sort of like the last two minutes of the Super Bowl when the Bucs ran in one more interception for a touchdown. Just rubbing their noses in it.

Courage? Yeah, right, post and run. Very couragous. Kind of like the Fedeyeen. They only hit civilians, women and children. But, we are not terrorists sympathizers like you and your ilk. When you come across actual thinking, logical, reasoning people, where is the courage of your convictions? Chicken s***.
