A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day....04-09-03...Name That FReeper

A Few of FR's Finest.....
......Every Day

FR is a Treasure Trove of talented, compassionate, patriotic, wonderful people who gather every day to discuss the latest news and issues; salute and support our military and our leaders;  tell a few jokes;  learn a new word;  write poetry;  pray for those in need;  and congratulate those who are deserving. Thank you, Jim Robinson, for giving us the vehicle in which we can express ourselves.

Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   I can remember lurking when there were only a few regulars who posted, and now there are over 60,000 who have registered for posting privileges. The forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.

A Few of FR's Finest November 11, 2001

So many people have written me since my original Veteran's Day Tribute, asking how they, or a loved one, could be included in that tribute. Since I can no longer add the photos to the body of the thread, I've been including them in additional posts as I received enough to make another collage.

Still that doesn't seem to be enough. I think there's never been a better nor more appropriate time to keep the faces of our own Veterans and Active Military in front of FReepers--every day! That's why I wanted to do yet another Daily Thread .....ABOUT FReepers .....and FOR FReepers. But not only about our Military FReepers; for all FReepers! Wouldn't it be nice to get to know a few of the other FReepers as well? That's why, in addition to seeing FR's Finest Military Personnel every day, I thought it might be fun to feature a different FReeper (or FReepers) each day. If you would like to be pictured, or know someone who would, please FReepmail me and we'll turn the spotlight - on YOU - for the day!

And do let me know if you'd like your picture added to the groups of Veterans/Active Military below. I will keep this page updated, and continue to add them to the comment section of the original Veteran's Day thread as well.

Fact is, they hate America more than they care about a people's freedom. I wonder if today's events will change any of their minds.

Hi FRee! No, not a chance of them changing their minds. Those die-hard liberals are convinced that WE are the evil ones.....and they don't want to hear anything else.

This was what all of the war protests were about...the fear that our military would liberate Iraq with valor and compassion for the Iraqi people and that America and President Bush would be heroes. Their worst nightmare has come true.....just as I think they suspected it would.

I think we will be seeing some fast back peddling by the likes of traitors like Rangel...in order to save their political hide. A happy day this is!

Flag waving, happy hugs to you!

Afternoon, Tea - so glad you stopped in. We got such a late start this morning - it was about 10 AM CDT when I posted the thread! Everyone's had a hard time staying away from the TV - a memorable moment watching that statute in the square come down.

Boy, it does appear that the liberals are very upset by this. At dc.indymedia.org, some claim that these Iraqis are paid actors. They just don't get the fact that Saddam was a brutal dictator: they claim to understand that, but they're suspcious that people are happy to be liberated. Fact is, they hate America more than they care about a people's freedom. I wonder if today's events will change any of their minds.

This upsets their warped way of thinking - we were supposed to fail - Bush was not supposed to be right - they' didn't want him to be right; results of our fighting forces were not supposed to be so spectacular, nor so swift - it only reinforces what fools they are to have opposed it so vehemently.....and underscores what a truly great leader we have in President Bush.

Yes we celebrated with lobster, shrimp and a frozen pina coleda. It was so good!

Glad you liked the post. I wanted to add the picture of the little Iraqi boy in the desert giving a thumbs up but couldn't find it.

*High Fives*
