Lili's Quick Polynesian Summary
The group of islanders that we will be visiting are collectively known as Polynesians. Many believe that the Polynesians first came to their respective islands from Southeast Asia. Also, many historians believe that there is a distinct possibility that Native Americans and Polynesians are related. One group, Native Americans, traveled by land through the Bering Strait. The Polynesians set course on the high seas. Both groups are thought to have originated from the same place. The Polynesian people comprise six groups: Maori, Samoan, Fijian (some do not consider them an actual member of the group), Tahitians, Tongans, and Hawaiians. Throughout their storied history, Polynesians have kept the traditions of the "old island" with the blend of modern living. Their ability to blend both lifestyles has allowed for more opportunities and holding on to traditions that have been passed down through the generations. Please join us today in learning more about them. Also, come with us to enjoy the many activities and locations that they have shared with the world. Enjoy yourself!

hey, bro. . .i just got this from a friend and had to email it to you for your humor bag. . .
_________
A little son of a Baptist minister was in church one morning when he saw for the first time the rite of baptism by immersion. He was greatly interested in it, and the next morning proceeded to baptize his three cats in the bathtub. The first kitten bore it very well, and so did the young cat, but the old family cat rebelled. It struggled with him, clawed and tore him, and got away. With considerable effort he caught it again and proceeded with the ceremony. But she acted worse than ever, clawed at him, spit, and scratched his hands and face. Finally, after barely getting her splattered with water, he dropped her on the floor in disgust and said: "Fine, be a Methodist." ____________________________________________________

Kathy here is a link of the 293 Infantry press release dated March 18, my son Karl is a Delta Dog and left for Iraq last Tuesday which was March 25.
The Delta Dogs also provide security for anyone needing added firepower during their movements around the country. They are routinely used by finance to assist in transporting money from post to post. They also assist in the transport of ammunition to camps through out the region.

Nonie 2 seems to be out of step. LOL! Oh well, no one cares. Today is a fun day for our troops that have a chance to check into the Canteen.
I'm sorry your flowers aren't getting the sun they need. Maybe Mr Sun can help out for a day or two.
I'm sure Kalolina won't mind sharing for a day or two.
