The last paragraphs of this piece pretty much summarizes my thought's on the matter.

He would like nothing more than to have them overthrow those states so that he can unify them and install himself as the leader of one large radical Islamic nation...

I see people like Osama Bin Laden using Islam as a political force to install himself in power, maintain that power and eventually profit from it. He is quite simply exploiting Islam for his own benefit.

IMO, one of the wisest things this President did was to draw a distinction between waging war on Terrorism and waging war on Islam itself. This short circuited the notion of a "Holy war" and attempted to market our action against the Taliban and now Saddam as a police action instead.

So far, it has been fairly successful.

Look, I don't want to hurt your feelings or anything.. So don't take this personally. I do want you to think about it before answering.

But, did you ever think that maybe Osama is exploiting exactly the kind of hate and racial & religious tension that you express here daily?

He's looking for zealots to talk into helping wage a holy war. Wouldn't someone like you be a prime candidate for recruitment, if the shoe were on the other foot?

Wouldn't he see your religious fervor and tag you right away as someone he could sell on this whole notion of a "Holy war" between Islam and the West?

I will spell out what I would do.....

For the sake of national security the practice of Islam would be banned because it is a murder and terrorist cult, there is no protection of religion as they try to hide behind now. All islam centers would be closed. The Nation of Islam would be outlawed and Louie would be detained. All muslims in the military would be out. All muslims in our govt would be out. All muslims teaching our students would be out.

Cair and the AMC would be shut down.

If the war with Islam ends we can go back and decide what to do next.

This is a starting point.

I know you will say we are not at war with Islam, but we are at war with Islam and until we decide we are we can never win this fully. The whole world is at war with Islam.
