Color me partisan........
Do me a favor, don't mention that they are anarchists in your letters.
We know they are, they usually embrace the term, but also in challenging them you'll find these children neither understand the social concept behind anarchy nor do they want to learn. As I said before, they have a quirky way of supporting the most oppresively large beaucracies in the history of man's relation to man. They are in fact a violent wing of the ultra Left. Why am I responding to you about this technicality? THEY ARE AN EMBARRASSMENT to the rest of their pretentious movement. Please don't help them out by drawing distinctions. Alot of things in the world are in play right now with this war, I say keep it up masked punks. If this civil disobedience gets blamed on the Walter Conkite's "hero protestors" we are witnessing the death of that insipid concept in 2003.
God Bless America.

point taken - I am so angry right now though.
Example - one spokesman for the group in Portland is the spokesman for ELF! (earth liberation front)
A terrorist organization named so by the FBI.
Do these protestors use terror to make a point or try and force some agenda?
Yes, so maybe terrorist is better than anarchists?

I know, I keep flip flopping (like I'm European or something) between outrage and quiet giddyness. Like the man's name mentioned in the thread, Rush, I see this temper tantrum by the left as a gift from GOD HIMSELF that could permanently discredit not only the Hero Protestors, but the entire Democratic Party if they are linked sucessful to these extremests (say by Daschle's comments or the candidates in the Iowa primaries.)
People hate being stuck in traffic, the only thing they hate more is being stuck in traffic because of vanity and pretention.
So I hear ya at being near your stack blowing point, another thing that relieves me is that I am planning on going to a FReeper rally this weekend, and I might start some trouble in Westwood if my friends are up for it. Its my particular outlet. We all need outlets at this historical time.
Keep writing those editors!

I totally agree...PLEASE KEEP IT UP!!! The great unwashed aka moderate aka swing voter will say "damn I don't want to be associated with that" etc, etc.
But I'd love for it to happen in front of me. I would love to get a couple licks in...oh well, can't have everything, FREEDOM FOR IRAQ will have to do!!
