Terminate Ann Coulter's syndication

Ann Coulter has long been considered one of the worst syndicated columnists in history.  Not only is she incapable of critical thinking, but her writing style is banal and full of witticisms that could easily be attributed to an eleven-year old.  Nevertheless, some companies still feel that they need to carry her venomous rants.  I should point out that National Review, a magazine renowned for its very conservative slant and its bloodthirsty anti-Muslim columnists, elected to terminate Ann Coulter.

As an update, there was a certain amount of activity last week due to an article by World Net Daily.  Read some of the emails we received here.

Please take the time to send the letter below to the following links.  Please title your emails "Terminate Ann Coulter's Column".

Write to FrontPage Magazine.  These guys are extremely anti-Muslim and fanatic fascists in their pursuit of conservatism.  It is run by a David Horowitz, who loves Ann because she suggested that we invade Islamic countries and convert them to Christianity.  Little hope of convincing them to drop Ann Coulter, I'm afraid, but we should let them know that she sucks.

Dear Sir/Madam;

I would like to express my total dissatisfaction with your organization's syndication of columnist Ann Coulter.  Not only is she one of the worst columnists in recent history, she is also one of the most vindictive and bloodthirsty writers on today's circuit.  Ann Coulter's comments on various talk shows and through her columns portray her to be a vindictive, egocentric, and thoroughly anti-Muslim bigot that has the bad habit of speaking before she thinks.  Some of her more recent comments include:

[about Muslims]  "We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war."

"[Clinton] masturbates in the sinks."---Rivera Live 8/2/99

"God gave us the earth. We have dominion over the plants, the animals, the trees. God said, 'Earth is yours. Take it. Rape it. It's yours.'"---Hannity & Colmes, 6/20/01

To a disabled Vietnam vet: "People like you caused us to lose that war."---MSNBC

"I think we had enough laws about the turn-of-the-century. We don't need any more." Asked how far back would she go to repeal laws, she replied, "Well, before the New Deal...[The Emancipation Proclamation] would be a good start."---Politically Incorrect 5/7/97

It is evident that this "writer" is nothing more than a mouthpiece for ultra-reactionary conservatives, and a blowhard at that.  She does not represent American values; her comments fly in the face of everything that Americans stand for, including the conservative population.  She is disgusting and vindictive, and is unable to generate a single original idea.  Her columns are always about how evil Muslims are, or how all environmentalists should be sentenced to death.  Even conservative organizations like the National Review have dropped her syndication, citing a lack of professional ethics and  integrity.

I am fairly certain that Ann Coulter does not represent the ideas and values of your company.  In fact, the only people she can claim to represent are bigots.  I therefore ask that you immediately cancel the appearance of her column from your organization.  I also would like to ask that you issue a public statement that informs the media that the reason that Ann Coulter was dropped was because of her paranoid and vindictive bigotry, and that she does not represent the values and the culture of your organization.

Thank you for your time.

Regards,

Subject: Terminate Ann Coulter's Column

Gents,

Just a quick note to let you know that I've sent emails to everyone on your "Terminate Ann Coulter's Column" campaign.

Dear Sirs,

I’d just like to thank you for carrying Ann Coulter’s column.  She is uniquely forthright in her writing and opinions.

I’m aware of the campaign to black list her carried out by those who seek to remain undercover and congratulate you for not giving in.

            Keep up the great work!

I've read the koran and like most Americans, know what you stand for.  You have been recognized as the enemy and Ann, her publishers, and her readers are spreading the word.
The thought that you and your backwards supporters think you could affect change at these conservative organizations, shows just how delusional you are.  There's not a conservative in America who doesn't recognize you as a mortal enemy to the cause of freedom, dignity, human rights and all that is pure and good in this world.

    Your time is running out.

I'm anxiously awaiting your response so I can post it on FreeRepublic

I would also like to make a few comments, with respect to Freerepublic.com and you impression of our faith.

I have had my posting privileges revoked twice on Freerepublic.com, after posting information that was not conservative enough, I guess.  The second time I got banned after simply asking some questions, or pointing out fallacies in people's opinions about Islam.  This leads me to believe that this bulletin board is merely a place for people with the same ideas to get together and talk about how right they are.  Anyone with a dissenting opinion is banned and all of his or her posts are pulled.  Consequently, I do not have a lot of respect for this web site

Also, in the last two says, I have been bombarded by emails and hits from Freerepublic.com users.  Of the 200 emails I have received, only 2 were civilized.  Most of thy readers of Freerepublic.com suggested that we should leave the country or that they would personally come to execute us in the name of liberty.  From these emails, I have a good idea of the quality of reader from Freerepublic.com.

Finally, if you really had read the Qur'an, I seriously doubt that you could consider Muslims the mortal enemy of freedom or dignity.  If you want top learn more about Islam, you can check out the following link:

Having posted on FreeRepublic for several years, I can assure you that if your posting privileges were revoked, it was not because your opinions were not "conservative enough" it was because you either posted profanity or engaged in personal attacks.  In fact there are several posters who are muslim who have been posting for years as well as a dozen or so dyed in the wool liberals.  None of them have been banned, which leads me to believe that you are being less than truthful about the content of your posts.

As for your questioning of my reading the Koran, here's some nuggets I've pulled out from my reading that lead me to believe that your "religion" is little more than an excuse to commit murder and subjugate those who have a different faith:

"Kill the disbelievers wherever we find them" (Koran 2:191)

"Ye are the best of peoples evolved for mankind." (Koran 3:110)

"The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and his messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be to be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet and genitals cut off, or to be expelled out of the land. Such will be their humiliation in the world, and in the next world they will face an awful horror." (Koran, 5:33-34)

"Not to make friendship with Jews and Christians" (Koran 5:51)

"Remember Allah inspired the angels: I am with you. Give firmness to the believers. I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: you smite them above their necks and smite all their fingertips off of them." (Koran, 8:12)

"In order that Allah may separate the pure from the impure, put all the impure ones [all non-Muslims] one on top of another in a heap and cast them into hell. They will have been the ones to have lost." (Koran, 8:37)

"If there are twenty amongst you, you will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, you will vanquish a thousand of them [infidels]" (Koran 8:65).

Allah and his messenger announce that it is acceptable to go back on our promises (treaties) and obligations with Pagans and make war on them whenever we find ourselves strong enough to do so (Koran 9:3)

"Fight and slay the Pagans, seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem" (Koran 9:5)

Our God tells us to "fight the unbelievers" and "He will punish them by our hands, cover them with shame and help us (to victory) over them" (Koran 9:14).

"Until they pay the Jizya [a penalty tax for the non-Muslims living under Islamic rules] with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued" (Koran 9:29)

"Unless we go forth, (for Jihad) He will punish us with a grievous penalty, and put others in our place" (9:39).

"O Prophet! Make war against the unbelievers [all non-Muslims] and the hypocrites and be merciless against them. Their home is hell, an evil refuge indeed." (Koran, 9:73)

"Murder them and treat them harshly" (Koran 9:123)

"When you meet the unbelievers in jihad [holy war], chop off their heads. And when you have brought them low, bind your prisoners rigorously. Then set them free or take ransom from them until the war is ended." (Koran, 47:40)

"When we decide to destroy a population, we send a definite order to them who have the good things in life and yet sin. So that Allah's word is proven true against them, then we destroy them utterly." (Koran, 17:16-17)

"How many were the populations we utterly destroyed because of their sins, setting up in their place other peoples." (Koran, 21:11)

"strike off the heads of the disbelievers" (Koran 47:4)

"Seize ye him, and bind ye him, And burn ye him in the Blazing Fire. Further, make him march in a chain, whereof the length is seventy cubits! This was he that would not believe in Allah Most High. And would not encourage the feeding of the indigent! So no friend hath he here this Day. Nor hath he any food except the corruption from the washing of wounds, Which none do eat but those in sin." (Koran 69:30-37)

You can continue to hope that Americans are too lazy to read your holy screed (assuming it's "Just like the Bible") and addicted to the farce of multiculturalism to wake up and see you for what you are, but your co-religionists are working at a cross purpose.   Each time a muslim draws inspiration from allah and kills as many infidels as he can, more civilized people realize that islam is a religion of hatred and violence.

I've also read the Koran or Queer'Ann, or whatever you want to call it.

Sorry, but Islam is for nutjobs.
For fifteen hundred years they've been trying to get organized enough to take over and slaughter the world.

Some religon of peace and mercy.

And everybody knows if there is one thing that Jews, including David Horowitz, want, it's more Christians!

The Quran is what one takes from it. The Bible has some nasty quotes as well. The American Islamists are in the year 2003 and realize that some of these quotes were for their own time (like the Bibles quotes about beating wives). The idiot Islamists, who are living in the 14th century and letting the Imans tell them what the book says, are he ones we have to worry about. I've read it as well and the Old Testament could be used the same way if we were, "A Religion of Peace." The difference is that we don't use our religion to control the masses and live in a free country.
Go Ann, you say what most of us would like to.

I understand your point, but I'd counter it with this:

I can't speak for any denomination besides Catholicism, but we view the Old Testament (very simply put) as more a history, than a guide for conducting one's self.   The Gospels are a code of conduct, and having been through Catechism, reading the Bible cover to cover, and hundreds of homilies, I've never heard The Father say I was supposed to kill anyone (or even that it was at my discretion).

That being said,  I completely agree with your point on the islamists letting the imam fill their heads with ideas that may have been handy back in the 14th Century or earlier.

I think they've got the wrong columnist this seems more appropriate.

"Molly Ivins has long been considered one of the worst syndicated columnists in history. Not only is she incapable of critical thinking, but her writing style is banal and full of witticisms that could easily be attributed to an eleven-year old. Nevertheless, some companies still feel that they need to carry her venomous rants."

One other difference is that, except for the Ten Commandments, the Bible (OT) is not universally prescriptive. Believers are not directed to convert to Judaism or kill every non-believer they find. There are major parts of the Quran which specifically say just that. The instances where Moses' people are directed to lay waste are specific to certain peoples and times.
