I'm just sitting here snickering about that German memo--that by RFing the US we'd submit ourselves to the authority to the UN. I believe we just said, in polite diplomatic terms, "stick it where the sun don't shine."

Pretty much saying....NOW the FOOD FOR OIL PROGRAM CAN NOT OPERATE>>>>>>It seems to me that I saw a report yesterday that Saddam had issued rations to his people in preparation for war - enough to last until August. This makes me wonder that if he has enough food available to feed his people until August, why are we reading stories about some awful number of Iraqi children dying every day (I think they quote 5,000) from lack of food?
