FoxNews Alert just reported that Iraqi troops have left Baghdad with heavy artillary and are heading south to the Kuwaiti boarder. More troops with SCUD missle launchers are heading west. The thought is that Saddam is about to attack our troops.

This is breaking news and details are few and far between.

I did read an interesting piece tonight on one of MadIvan's threads pointing out that the strong winds do help render the chems and bios less effective

Someone once told me the higher the Temp also makes these chems less effective ..

So do you think he's going to risk a pre-emptive attack, at least at this point? I don't. Secondly, the psy-ops we've been running that have the troops ready to surrender at the sound of a gunshot would seem to indicate no desire by those on the front lines to commit suicide.

Actually, I do, though the pre-emptive portion of the attack is not going to head south, east or north. His window of opportunity to attack Israel with his forces intact is rapidly closing despite the "best" efforts of the UN and the Fourth Reich (EU sans Britain and Spain).

Fox has flipped with their incessant breaking news. Just listen to how they keep stirring things up. I have a personal boycott on Fox (except for the show that comes on at 6 PM est. I don't know. A recent post said Stratfor.com said Iraq must move it's troops before the war starts because we own the sky so they can't move troops after the war starts. This may be their last troop movements. Moving south makes sense, engage the enemy. I don't know why they're moving west, unless they think we're going to do another left hook.

Maybe we sold them the left hook this time and we're really going to do an amphibious assault.
