So do you think he's going to risk a pre-emptive attack, at least at this point? I don't. Secondly, the psy-ops we've been running that have the troops ready to surrender at the sound of a gunshot would seem to indicate no desire by those on the front lines to commit suicide. Actually, I do, though the pre-emptive portion of the attack is not going to head south, east or north. His window of opportunity to attack Israel with his forces intact is rapidly closing despite the "best" efforts of the UN and the Fourth Reich (EU sans Britain and Spain).

Unless Saddam himself launches the attack, I don't see it happening.

Saddam is likely to send 100 suicide bombers with at a crack (with chemicals) into Israel via the Palestinians. There's no doubt there is a payoff by Saddam after every suicide bomber.
