Sarasota Young Republicans have secured permits for a

******* SUPPORT OUR TROOPS *** RALLY FOR AMERICA *******

Saturday, March 22 at Noon

Location: Rte. 41 entrance to Island Park (next to Marina Jacks Restaurant) Rte. 41 at the Sarasota Bay waterfront area.

Bring American Flags, 'Support Our Troops' signs, 'Honk for Our Troops' signs, etc.

Please plan to attend & spread the word among your friends, clubs, churches, veteran groups.

Let's have a huge turnout to show that

We have an extra bedroom with twin beds if anyone feels the drive is too much for one day! Also two inflatable mattresses......we can have a Freeper Slumber Party.....LOL

Just learned today of another

RALLY in SUPPORT OF OUR TROOPS:

SUNDAY, MARCH 23 AT 2PM in PATRIOT PARK, VENICE.

Patriot Park is located on Rte 41 near the splitoff of Rte 41 Bypass & 41 Business next to the Key West Restaurant & Hampton Inn.

There are many flags at the Memorial which can be seen from 41. Patriot Park is on the left heading south.

This RALLY will be conducted by "Veterans Organizations of Sarasota County" who will have "a program of unity & patriotism in support of our troops".

Richard & I will be attending the both Rallies that weekend! We are fortunate to live a short drive from each!

How close is Sarasota to Orlando...I'm gonna git my Uncle Bernard to drag his family (some 25-30 folks including grandkids) to this Rally if I can...MUD

BTW...my Uncle Bernard usedta play cards with Leonard Skinner almost every FRiday night!! Yep...the same Leonard Skinner who was the Jacksonville gym teacher fer the band members of Lynyrd Skynyrd...both he and my uncle were apparently WildMen in their day...LOL!!
