Sarasota Young Republicans ...whoo hoo, brave young Republicans!
Thank you, Julie, for rallying the homefront patriots. I can't be there, but will gladly spread the word. Looks like a fine group already. One person standing up for America is a powerful force for good. (^:

Julie, "it" which is now bigger is a "gif." I jokingly said to Louie, just to cause some trouble, that so-and-so had a bigger gif than me. Turns out, although I was perfectly happy with my last gif, complaining works!! LOL, 'cause now I have an even bigger gif. Which will make Dutchess very jealous, I'm sure, as well she should be. Oops, Louie said not to boast. Well never mind then. A picture's worth a thousand words. ;)

If you THINK Louie made your sign first, that's the important thing and that works for you. ;) Fine, then.
But more seriously, good good luck with your rally! We're so tired here in DC, I don't know, we're going to try.

Our local radio curmudgeon mentioned all these 'Support the Troops' rallies today, and wondered why the mainstream media wasn't mentioning them. It was a rhetorical question; he knows EXACTLY why!

I can remember going to the 4th of July fireworks display at Island Park when he was 4 years old. He was scared of the noise and we left early. Now he is over there. Guess he's not afraid of the noise any more. Good luck on your rally! Thanks so much.....I'm posting his picture here so others can see the Soldier Who was Born in Sarasota. May God Bless and Protect Him!

Folks, if you have any Free Republic.com business-size cards, bring them with to this rally. I had 500 printed up on the cheap at my local print chain in red and blue on white. I use them all the time and always have three or four in my wallet.
When I went to see the soon-to-be-elected George W. Bush in his campaign stop near Clearwater, I passed out my cards to a lot of interested people in the throng, and in particular, to a group of about 20 Young Republicans in the crowds lining the street.
They had never heard of FR, but they all had computers, you bet!
