LAST WEEK IN REVIEW |

Well, thank you Pipper! Glad you like them. Thanks for sharing them with all of us.
Hope you didn't catch cold out standing in that snow.....you and your patriot friends are certainly dedicated FReepers!
Good morning to you!
Hey, I came across your Modesto rally thread. I didn't get pinged, so I almost missed it. Anyway......good job up there! I love to see 'support our troops' rallies, large or small. It does my heart good. :-)
Hope you have a nice, relaxing day today. Take some well-deserved time for yourself. I'll hold down the fort here......at least for awhile longer. :-)
STARWISE, I can sympathize with what you are going though. My 84 year old mother-in-law was hospitalized two weeks ago with pneumonia. But, we live in the same town so we were able to be with her at the hospital and now that she is home. It is particularly difficult when you live so far apart.
The prayers and concern coming from my friends on FR meant so much to me and my husband. In turn, I am praying for you and your mother. May our Lord and Savior surround you both with Peace and Comfort during this difficult time.
This picture of an American eagle was painted by Jim Gray. He also wrote the text below it.

Our country is truly blessed. We are blessed with opportunity, natural resources and good people. Ours is a land of great diveristy in its' beauty, with a heritage of citizens who have time and again come to its' defense. The greatest asset we have is that, above all else, our country is "Blessed With Freedom".
Thank you, jw, for being here every day with your positive and up-lifting comments. Even on the sunniest of days, you always manage to brighten things up even a bit more around here. :-)
Thanks. It was a spur of the moment thing for me on Saturday. The Bee had an announcement that the anti's would be protesting, so I called HD and fxr. Turned out that a few non-FReepers were equally disturbed by the anti's and we mounted a Support Our Troops rally. One of those patriotic citizens happened to be an old aquaintance from about ten years ago. I helped him coach our daughter's softball team back then. He happened to pass by the intersection on his way home from the bank, got his wife and two Stars and Stripes and came back to join the rest of us. KEWL, huh? The honking horns, waves, and thumbs up were like saying "Sic 'em" to a bulldog.
Beep Beep!
No, I sure wish I could make something like that (and I would love to make one for you), but, as Pippin said, ST.LOUIE1 gave it to her. You might check out some of the signature sites, from what I understand there are people who will custom make them for you.
KEWL indeed! :-)
Pippin, your love and pride in your country just shines...so bright and clear and strong! Very Good!!
Hope everyone has a safe and productive day.
