>>dennis miller is the only person i've seen destroy donahue.<<
I seen Pat Buchanan carve up Donahue in a debate over the death penalty. This debate was on some special hosted by Tim Russert so Phil didn't have a home show advantage.

Nope...i think i'm mentally deficient not defective...just want to keep the insults straight....ok..maybe i should have said CINO...i cede....what about Hillary and also ol' slick willy's budget of '92 was suppose to bring an end to America as we know it...for the record..i LOATHE willy. I started listening to Rush in '89 when i was in the shipyard in Portsmouth, VA....for a few years there i thought Rush hung the moon...all in all, it has been a good thing that Rush came along when he did..he's just not interesting anymore because so much else is out there including the internet.

I think Sean is what he appears to be - a guy that cares deeply about what's good and clean and decent and honest and fair and right. All the popular ones - even the O'Reilly - have their strengths - but Sean best fits the old saying about a quality person - "all wool and a yard wide."

Heard him on Howie Carr recently.
'nads. is right.
"Gee, I haven't heard anything about people being upset about illegal immigrants...". Carr gave him a pass, IIRC.

I like Sean. He's well informed, can be friendly, but can be like a pit bull when he's challenged. BUT -- he doesn't have the depth that Rush has. Rush can still take a situation and see it from a different angle than anyone. Sean doesn't do that. He deals with facts as presented. IMMHOThe thing about Rush thatscares the hell out of Democrats is that he not only comes up with these angles on his own, he sees things no one else sees. (Michael Savage does, too, in a "big picture" sense.) He OWNS liberal Democrats. He knows what they are thinking, he knows their, next move, and he knows the motivations behind their actions. The truly possesses "Talent on loan..From God-duh!"

I love Bob Grant! Grant has no ill feelings towards Rush, but he does for Hannity. Do you have any background? I know last Thursday, Bob complained that Sean (without mentioning any names) was using Bob's catch phrases.

It is a busy night. (Grammys, war, etc.) But then again, who knows. By the way...are you one of those assistants? Hmmm?

Yes, Liddy is still on the radio but recently, oh, for about the past two weeks I'd say, his son Tom has been filling in and he has been doing a great job.

.he's just not interesting anymore because so much else is out there including the internet. This can be attributed more to jading on your part I think -
- owing to internet *and* the possible glossing over of those finer points and nuances he he makes that people often miss (due to a variety of reasons; most people, even with Rush ofering a 27/7 service don't get a chance to catch Rush 'from stem to stern' - I have worn out 7 1/2" reel-to-reel recorders in past years pulling Rush in during the day via a 'timed recored' then playing him back in the evening or dubbing his pgm to cassette for use in the car) -
- than the possibility that Rush is getting 'stale' or is 'slipping'.
I'll grant you that logging onto FR will get you the stories he may cover - and you will more often than not get nearky the same 'take' that Rush will have (or has) - BUT there are also many occasions that the two are not in synchronicity ...

CARE to name *one* grand prediction of his - let alone ONE that he 'fumbled'?? I don't know what the original poster would call a "grand prediction," but I've heard Rush throw out some predictions that were clearly just talk. In '96, he predicted at one time that Colin Powell would run for president and win. At another time, he predicted that Dole would beat Clinton. I think he predicted that the Republicans would gain seats in '98. When he predicts something that I want to happen, it's easy to put too much faith in the prediction because I just want it to be true. His predictions are just part of the show. Some will be true and some will be wrong. I don't think the predictions are that big a deal, but the notion that he's always right when he makes predictions about important things is silly.

Near none. Which replies do you deem suspicious, and explain why there aren't opposition replies ahead of the so-called liberal network.
Of course, I won't disagree it hasn't happened in the past.

I wish Sean the best, but his voice drives me nuts. Rush's used to but he's mellowed a bit.
I used to get WABC in NYC over the net and loved listening to Steve Malzberg. He has a good voice, and I liked his handling of callers, too.

It shows Limbaugh at 14.50 million weekly. No reason to doubt its credibility. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You're right. I would like to see a chart of his viewlistenership over the last 3 years, but the site doesn't have one.

Not as much as Savage though.

I'm to the right of Goldwater.
That's not hard. Have you listened to Goldwater in the last 30 years or so? Howard Dean is to the right of Goldwater these days.

Thanks for the article, I enjoyed it :-) I'm just grateful to BOTH Hannity and Rush... Every single conservative vote counts while the country is being viciously torn up by the career-driven Rats.
The more people out there presenting the conservative viewpoint, the better shape our country is in :-)
