Excellent. From another post I sent an angry e-mail to the president of the college.
President Berman, supporting a student who turns her back to the flag while we are at war against radical Islam and saying of Toni Smith, "what she's doing is courageous and difficult," is beneath contempt. You are a moral coward.
I am sending this story to my son-in-law and the crew aboard the USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT. As I'm sure Josh would say -- "Dad, I'm even proud to defend *ssholes like Richard Berman and Toni Smith."
Maybe your disgusting student should have been born in a country that made her wear a burqa. Then, she might appreciate this country.

"This woman ought to be taken on a field trip to Iraq after it is liberated."
Why wait??
Perhaps Ms. Toni noticed that First Amendment rights swing both ways..........

I wonder how comfortable and agile she would be in running down the basketball court had she been surgically altered before adolescence by Islamofascists.
That said, I surely wouldn't wish such a horrific fate on anyone.....

My wife, a naturalized American who grew up in Burma, sees this crap on the news and asks me "What is wrong with these American people?" I never know exactly how to explain, except that people that have never lived in a country with an oppressive government sometimes think that the American government is the worst. My wife wants those people to talk to her or go live in Burma, then see how much they hate the USA.

"For some time now, the inequalities that are embedded into the American system have bothered me. As they are becoming progressively worse and it is clear that the government's priorities are not on bettering the quality of life for all of its people, but rather on expanding its own power"
Pretty accurate description of the Clinton years and the legacy that followed.

Perhaps she would like to be a human shield in Iraq.

Well said. American businessmen are the real heroes, they are the creators of wealth from which government is funded and jobs are created.

In America she has every right to turn away from the flag, and I have every right to call her a dyke.

I support a complete pullout of US support and funding of the corrupt Manhattanville indoctorinal regime. How about the complete pullout of all government funding for "education"?

In America she has every right to turn away from the flag, and I have every right to call her a dyke.Yep. Most here are advocating her leaving the country because she exercised her right. I'm sure the Democrats will advocate you leaving the country for calling her a dyke.
All depends on who's ox is being gored.
To: Protagoras
I didn't actually call her a dyke.

I just happened to tune in to the whiney, blowhard, self-described "conservative" Mike Gallagher's radio show yesterday. He was saying
the school should suspend her from the basketball team.
As usual, Gallagher is wrong. One of the great things about this country is that we give idiots like her all the rope they need to hang themselves. She's just hanging herself. I like knowing who the real idiots are.
Now, if it gets to be too much of a problem, I think her teammates should refuse to play until she stops bringing all of this unseemly attention on herself, and starts thinking of the best interests of the team.

I didn't actually call her a dyke. That's nice, it would be most unbiblical.

"I hope she becomes a foul magnet till she is black and blue."Now, that's something that I think we all can get behind.
Let's see ... one foul per player for the other team (5 plus however many are on the bench ... say, 15 total) ...
...and then one foul per each player on HER team. I don't know if the ref could actually call a foul on a player for fouling a "teammate", could he?
Anyway, that's a whole lot of bruising.
