Smith is protesting "that the government's priorities are not on bettering the quality of life for all of its people, but rather on expanding its own power.'' Smith's mom is a school administrator...I wonder Miss Smith she feels like this:
Smith is protesting "that the NEA's priorities are not on bettering the quality of education for all of the students, but rather on expanding its own power.''

Turning on the hatred, regardless of how justifiable, never changes peoples minds.Hatred? Who said that I hated her? I can hold someone in contempt without hating them.
And I do hold her in contempt.
It is not enough just to stand for something; you must also be willing to stand against things as well. And I firmly stand against people who enjoy all the advantages of this country while sneering at it from some platform of fake moral superiority.
Allowing her to continue unchallenged is the same as agreeing with her. If you do not challenge what is wrong it will spread and grow until it overcomes what is right.

Smith's mom is a school administrator So, in the Smith family doing the work of the government, taking government employment, salary and benefits, is OK, but honoring the government's flag is not?

This Richard guy is an idiot, nice letter. By the way, they had a home game last night and the 350 people from the school rallied around her. What morons. This Richard idiot got on the microphone and saluted her courage. Ms. Smith then gave a statement about how upset she is with how America handles the poor, the homeless...she made some good points but she never told the audience what she will try to do to correct the situation and nor does it explain why she wants to live here and benefit from this country if she truly believes the political and economic systems which make this country what it is are so flawed....a childish, ignorant hypocrite.
