Name YOUR FreeRepublic Must Read Members II-Where is Everybody?
Free Republic Thread I bumped Into ^

I went through my bookmarks today and noticed alot of the old unaccesible threads and went down memory lane. Where is everybody? So many I can't list but I wonder where they went or if screen names have been changed.
While having some fun and updating this thread
I hope many will also check in or knowledge of new screen names be made known-if they are still here.

That's right, I always enjoyed [hamiltonian]'s erudite discussions od oil pipelines through the Balkans and Caspian areas. Plus [sjrobbins] for demographic analysis of Kosovo (we agreed on the gross Muslim exaggerations), and [vooch] for other figures on Balkans.
Then I just remembered [Anochka] (American woman expert on Russia and shady financial dealings), and banned members whose writings I always enjoyed: [ketuzov, vojvodina, madrussian, and several Serbs]

Oh, my God - I could never come up with a definitive list. I like all 'o y'all!Everyone made me feel at home when I joined last year; on those few occasions when I needed help or an ear to listen to, y'all were there.
I'm glad to be here, and I love you all.

Kind of makes you wonder if you should not be on a pro Clinton site then. But all the same--we need foils--

Does anyone know what happened to Common Tator? I always enjoyed his viewpoints and perspectives. He hasn't posted since Christmas, I hope that he is OK as his health had previously been an issue.

I know quite a few names from reading posts, especially the people who post on the Day in the Life thread.
I used to post more, and there were so few on way back then that we all knew each other.
I just don't have time to post that much now, but certainly enjoy reading Free Republic!

The Clinton element did complicate matters. If it had been Bush, things might have been somewhat different, not with the Balkan hardliners, but with the neighborhood at large. One thing I think we can agree on, is that all of us detoxifying from Clintonitis is a good thing. He was a destructive destraction who tended to poison the debate on everything he touched, in part because folks assumed that if his lips were moving, he was lying. It gets to be heavy lifting to suggest that in some instances he was not.

Fishhog...I wonder what's become of him??? I loved Fishhog!
I miss heavyd the most; always felt like he watching out for me. What a sweet soul that one IS. That was the first time I actually sobbed over losing someone I'd never even met.

Here we are at post 193 on this most interesting thread, and no one has mentioned the most skilled satirist who has ever graced the pages (electrons) of Free Republic: (Drum roll, please....) IowaHawk. (Now aren't y'all ashamed YOU didn't think of that?)
Congressman Billybob
Latest: "Buncombe Rides Again, and Again," now up on UPI and FR.
To: TaRaRaBoomDeAyGoreLostToday!
Too damned many to name. So many over the past four years have made me think, made me laugh.......sometimes hysterically, made me angry, made me reconsider my own positions, made me act....................and I love all of y'all for it. :)

I still miss
Irma and wish that I knew what happened to her. I consider
rdf to be a friend although we don't correspond that much anymore. Meeting
YaYa123 and
Memphis Belle for "Freep the Veep" was fun. I still see YaYa occasionally on these threads. I think Memphis Belle has left.
Willie Green and I are sometimes on opposite ends of an issue, but I've generally enjoyed his threads and posts. He's also a fellow Nittany Lion.
Nita Nuprez is a really neat lady, and I've missed seeing her as often as in the past. As everyone else has said, there are many more that I can and should mention. These are just a few that came to mind.

Good question. Askel is Irma well, and to add another name, do you have any update on Big Ezy? I know that that hard living down there is distracting, but just the same.
