Midland is a big state... Crawford is near Waco, Midland is in far West Texas.... Utah reported strange group near a refinary last night.

Went back and found so many articles on these fires at/or near this industrial part of Staten Island, it's pathetic.

The big statement was "this happens every day" by a man who lives there.

Nevertheless, we are all being watchful and that is as it should be.

I hope a nuclear plant isn't next!

Calm down.
There is nothing especially flamable at a Nuke Plant.
Refineries and chemical plants have fires all the time, they just weren't considered newsworthy till recently.

Breaching the containment vessel of a nuke plant is something that would take the equivelent of the largest bunker busters. A maxed out jumbo jet might crack one, but they are designed to withstand impact of earlier jets like the 707, 727, 737 etc.

same here. Glenn Beck didn't do his homework this morning; he cited that original article on his radio program without any reference to the follow-up report--last night--about it having been a hoax). Hope he checks it later, and reports it tomorrow.
