Long time Freeper Yellow Rose of Texas has recently had an attempted back surgery during which her aorta, which was encased in scar tissue, was nicked and had to be repaired. In a previous prayer thread, many many folks have graciously offered their prayers and comments of encouragement to her. I spoke with Yellow Rose of Texas yesterday and here is the latest!
Her recovery to the previous surgical attempt to do the back surgery has been phenominal. She saw her doctor two days ago on Tuesday. She is doing well enough that he has scheduled her back surgery in a week for TUESDAY FEBRUARY 18, 2003. She had initially been told it would be a few weeks longer to recover, but she has amazed her doctor and he judges that she is ready for the next procedure.
Rose has asked me to thank you each and every one so very much for all your thoughts and prayers on her behalf. She asked me to quote her,
"Thank you so much. I feel each and every one of your prayers. The Good Lord is with me and my family. I dont feel scared at all. This surgery will stabilize my back and it'll all be fine. I feel so protected. I am hoping that this surgery will enable me to once more return to the freeping that I enjoy. It has seemed in my life that if something unusual can happen, it will happen to me. Please pray that the surgery be routine. NO SURPRISES!! LOL!!"
We continue to be so grateful that the prayers we have all been saying on behalf of our Rosie have been so graciously heard. We trust that indeed her body has been prepared to withstand and respond to this new surgical attempt to repair certain conditions in her back which have been debilitating her.
We ask that you will continue to surround her doctor and his entire surgical team and all health care professionals who are handling her case. Give them wisdom, guidance, and insight into anything which will assist her in the procedure and subsequent healing process. Please work with her body both at the macroscopic level and at the microscopic levels. We do call forth a miraculous healing, as much as your Great Law will allow.
Father, we ask for you to send her and her family legions of comfort angels. Help them to feel peace throughout this entire process. Help them to not feel any kind of inordinate stress, for we do have the understanding that stress is responsible for bringing about the conditions of poor immune response. We would ask that Rose and her family members be shielded from this kind of problem.
We ask that the airplane and other conveyances which Rose and her family will be using will be protected. Let a wall of lightening from your heart surround them. Let the angels of protection hold them close.
Finally, we pray that the surgery be routine. NO SURPRISES!!
We ask, Father that everything we are asking for and on behalf of our Rosie can be multiplied and applied to any and all for whom these prayers may be helpful. We are grateful for your majesty, Father and we praise you for it and your mighty power which can spread your blessing and our love for your creation to all of life.
We ask this to be done according to thy will in the name of the One Sent.
Amen
