The lawyers and the sisters that filed the lawsuit should have their right hands amputated for bringing a false accusation upon honest people. That is what their ancestors that they so proudly revere would have done.
Black history month is nothing but one month devoted to racism.
The lawyers would never go for a loser pays system because it would be honest and equitable. Also, look at the majority of lawmakers; they are lawyers that couldn't screw enough folks in private practice.

Somebody was looking for a payday. I hate to mention who as it might be construed to be racist. And heaven knows we don't want to be that.
I wonder how many brothas in the hood are being sued for the use of the "N" word these days. I'm sure these two women never heard any of them use it, aren't you.

Maybe reparations are due the decendants of the original author for........copyright infringement?
I abhor the N word but victimhood like this will eventually harm the black cause.

BTW...whatever happened to the tiger in this rhyme? I think he hollered and they had to let him go.

Oh, please. I've never heard the "Eenie-meenie" thing in that context (and I'm 40). This is yet another way for someone to grab and get their fifteen minutes of fame...We've got far more important things to worry about...
Black conservative ping
If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

If you can't play sports... and if you can't wait until the Federal Government redistributes some more of our honestly earned fiat dollars... you can always sue.

"BTW...whatever happened to the tiger in this rhyme?"I'm sure you can easily see this is the same tiger that was in the old children's book (probably banned long ago) "Little Black Sambo" and gives them additional ammo for their claim of racism. (Just kidding.)

Actually the "N word" was a parody of the original 'catch a "Tiger" by the toe'.
I grew up in the north east and was in high school before hearing the modified version.
I can assume that, being from the south, they may only have heard the racist version as teachers of young children in that region of the country would elect not to include the recital of such a poem in their classroom because of it's cruel variation.
That being said, however, trying to prove that the airline employee was thinking N****r and not Tiger will be a tough nut to crack, but in todays court system anything is possible.

They hollered, I guess we have to let them go.

Are you allowed to call African-American women "sisters" now? I thought "sister" went out long ago?
To: Sir Gawain
I've been on numerous Southwest flights over the years. They are always trying to be funny or say things to get someones attention.
BTW, I doubt any 22 year old has heard that little ditty with the "n" part included. Unless daddy was a grand wizard of the KKK.
To: frmrda
She didn't say either one. These crazy women heard her say "Eenie, meenie, minie, moe; pick a seat, we gotta go," and it REMINDED them of the racist version they'd heard somewhere, and they ASSUMED it was directed at them, and they ASSUMED other passengers' giggles were directed at them. And now they want to get PAID for all this stuff that happened entirely inside their own heads!

I'm Jewish. The next time someone tells me to "go fly a kite," I'll be sure to mis-hear it as "go fry a kike," and sue the pants off them for reminding me of the horrors of the Holocaust.
