Saddam was more willing to assist al Qaeda after the bombings of our embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. And of the Cole.

The press is going to love this stuff. I can't wait to see Chis Mathews face after this .. wonder if he'll still say Iraq is not a threat to us?

Former U.N. weapons inspector Scott Ritter of the United States makes a point during his speech in Tokyo February 5, 2003. Ritter, an outspoken critic of U.S. policy on Iraq, said on Wednesday that he expected war to break out by the end of February and that Pyongyang would likely seize the opportunity to attack Japan and South Korea (news - web sites). Not "attack" - NUKE. Whopper Boy specifically said NK will nuke Japan as a result of our war with Iraq because "they know they're next."

Bush has no experience making presentations like this. Powell has done it for decades.

Daschle will insist that if it's not enough for the French, it's not enough for him.

That isn't Bush's training. Rummy couldn't it.
Powell is meant for this type of thing.
It's why Shakespeare didn't write prose.
It's why Keats did write prose.
It's why Twain didn't write poetry.
Artists have different skills, which does not make them any less talented than another.

I think Powel should rap it up by saying... you have 15 mins to vote... I have planes in the air as we speak.

I was at Ann Coulter's CPAC speech, and during the question/answer session, she said the only reason we hadn't already started in Iraq was:
"...to give the human shields more time to get there." :)
To: finnman69
They said a link wouldn't be made between Iraq and AQ. I'd say "they" were wrong.

C-SPAN internet feed is slow. Any other streams out there? The one at www.whitehouse.gov is superb -- it looks better than broadcast TV.

Good point. Wait until some of those weapons have been used on our troops.
