Also hits "liberals" (he uses that word, too) for bollixing up our education system with "Education Department Hippy-Dippy Happy Talk": "These people even want to get rid of *grades* now, because they think bad grades hurt kids' self-esteem. So even bad grades have to sound 'happy.' They're like, 'A 'D' is just a 'B' that didn't tighten its belt!!"

It was a fantastic performance. Miller actually said he was a Bush man. He supports taking out Saddam because he knows the guy is a threat, but he also believes that it will serve as a good object lesson for North Korea. He even took a shot at Al Gore: "I've known psoriasis patients who were more comfortable in their own skin than Al Gore."
The last couple of times he was on Leno, he strongly supported Bush, but this is his best performance yet. I only wish I had followed my first instinct and taped it.

I liked the reference to the North Korean leader guy as the "Chia" guy.
It was, to me, truly amazing to see. Leno asked him "so, what did you think of the State of the Union speech?" For what seemed like an eternity, Miller just let loose - not pausing to let Leno say anything.
Any normal American watching that had to have had a light come on when he went off on the ACLU, saying something like "now, let's think about the ACLU. They'll sue you for putting up a manger scene at Christmas, but then defend the guy who comes up and has sex with one of the sheep in your manger." Too funny.

I don't much care for Dennis Miller. I went to a live performance (great seats), but he was so foul-mouthed, that I had to get up and walk out. I guess I have a hard time reconciling a foul-mouth and being any kind of conservative that I understand. Maybe he's a libertarian.

I can't figure out what has happened with Miller. He was so disgustingly liberal a few years ago and now ***SHAZAM*** he's been transformed. Has he ever given a public explanation of what caused his change in thinking? I don't know what's going on with him, but I like it. If it's contagious, I sure hope the rest of Hollywood cartches it.

I caught it last night, and it seems that Dennis has done a 180 in his political views. He hit liberals HARD, and hit them where it counts. He also got pretty preachy on education vouchers. His comment was something like "Our public education in this country is in the toilet, and the liberals don't want to do anything to fix it. Why not try vouchers, and let people see if they can get their kids a better education, EVEN IF IT IS IN A PAROCHIAL SCHOOL!". I honestly couldn't believe it. I think Dennis Miller has decided to eschew Hollyweird, and go after that great untapped audience that Hollyweird refuses to acknowledge exists. He should do pretty good with it, and who knows, maybe some other Hollyweird types will come out of the conservative closet. Look for him to guest for Rush too. It could happen.

I wouldn't have caught it if you hadn't posted the alert. Thanks. It was great!
