A hundred years from now, it will be remembered as an act of complete political selfishness and a low point in American politics. No, a year from now it will be forgotten.

A hundred years from now, it will be remembered as an act of complete political selfishness and a low point in American politics. Or in a hundred years from now the Politburo in DC will select Tom as one of the "People's Hero's" and have Christian slave labor build him a monument where the status of Lincoln used to be.
Unless we drive the Socialists into the ocean in the short term, I fear for the future our children will inherit.

Great strategy by the Democrats; just terrific.
Whenever your Party gets their butts whipped in an election, it's obvious that the best thing to do is to elect a hyper-liberal SF feminist ball-buster as your leader in the House and then have your Congressional membership stoop to a childish pettiness that is simply breathtaking.
I hope they keep it up. I really, really do.

Tom Daschle's attack on President Bush's Iraq policy on the eve of war and long after the Congress had voted to authorize the president to launch the war was shocking and without precedent. A hundred years from now, it will be remembered as an act of complete political selfishness and a low point in American politics. Daschle ping!

Just another symptom of the Clinton Political Idealogy, so firmly im"bed"ed in the Democratic Party. Shrill crys and lies - as opposed to true opposition.

Do you have a link to the text of D'Aschole's speach? Or, can you post it on this thread?

Daschle is old news. Regardless of Bush's political fate, he's in his last 2 years in public life. He'll retire from the Senate because Democrats blame him for losing the majority and he has no chance at the Presidential nomination.

(Hillary):"After the show here at the senate, want to come up to my tony Georgetown pad? We can have a gourmet dinner and some very excellent wine.(Later "someone" will put a hole in the center of your forehead, roll you up in an oriental carpet and drop you off at one of our local parks.)
(Dasshole): "Gee, that would be great Hilly. Due to your enormous voter appeal I've been wanting to get closer to you and have a chance to discuss how we can rule this nation together before we completely tank it.(Up close Hillary's pores look like the craters on the moon, her lips are cracked and packed with gloss, she has several chins, and her jowls sag. Oh well, I should be happy with the attention HRH is giving me.)"

There are really no words to describe Daschle and his stand.
He is a very small man with a very small mind and hopefully he will not be remembered.

"But if there is any justice in the world and any sense of honor in the country, the Democrats who stood by silently this week and are thus complicit in Daschle's attack will never be rewarded with the public's trust again."
Amen to that.

My contribution will be to flood South Dakota newspaper editorial columns over the next two years. The contempt this moron has for a strong America and our Constitution is appalling. Anyone care to join me in the effort?

The democrats is a vile bunch of liers, crooks and con artist. They are trying to undermind President Bush and the country.Without a dought Daschle is the worst of the bunch. The top four that work insink are bill Hillary tommie and nancy the vile four.
To: JohnHuang2
"But Monday's display was just mendacious, a low moment in the career of a limited man."Sheer POETRY! This is the perfect definition of Daschle's every pronouncement. A tiny man with a tiny soul.

He is the leader of the Rat Traitors in the Senate.
They are all traitors and would allow their Uncle Soddomite to destroy us if that hurt President Bush.
The rats across America from the Follywoodies to the Rat Professors in our universities are truly the evil people in this country.

So what's new.
The Democrats have nothing positive to offer America. Daschle and company are employing a form of obstructionist politics that only further damages their credibility with most fair minded American's, especially, the independent voter.
