ABORTION MAP OF THE U.S.
Christian Patriots For Life ^

THE ABORTED STATES OF AMERICA
The map above has 17 states blacked out. The population of these states is equal to the 42,000,000+ reported "legal" surgical abortions since 1973. Perhaps this visual perspective helps one to grasp the number of people that are gone, deadrobbed of their God given, constitutional rights to life and liberty.
Each time a person is aborted and robbed of their rights; our rights and very lives become less secure. How many more innocent people will have to suffer horrible painful deaths before the nation accepts the truth that with abortion, we are destroying our country and our future.
Please go to our Pro-Life Education Page , to learn how you can help end this tragedy.

Accusing others of "Killing Babys". Using YOUR religous beliefs to condemn others. I disagree. My opposition to abortion is based squarely on science and reason. That a fetus is a living human baby is incontrovertable scientific fact. That "terminating a preganacy" is the killing of a baby is also incontrovertable scientific fact.

Stunning visual. Have printed it off to use the next time this question arises at my Republican caucus.

Any fetus that is not viable outside the womb is no different from a corn or wart and can be removed at will.No newborn baby is viable outside the womb.

The Christianized west stands out as the exception, not the rule.Abhorrance of infanticide is what separated early Christians from the Romans and the Jews.

I must disagree with the tag line on post 160. The Truth is the known cure for liberalism. I know from personal experience.
Thanks for some great posts, I've enjoyed reading them and agree with you.

It's apparently not all that 'uneasy' a decision for many. The most recent statistics show that close to half of all abortions performed are repeats, meaning the 'lady' has been there before. And we should want these trailer trash crack whores having MORE trailer trash crack whores?
I appreciate your point, it's a good one, but that's one thing that gets me thinking abortion might not be all bad...But that's a pretty cold thought too...
Even Free Republic isn't big enough for this conversation, I am afraid.

Personally, I'm pro-life.. I could never kill a baby of mine. But just curious to know what you guys think in regards to the question "Is there any good reason for an abortion?" examples: rape, incest, baby that won't live once it is actually born, 9 yr old pregnant for whatever reason, mother would die if she goes through pregnancy, etc. Are you wanting ALL abortion outlawed or a special cases law with it?

"Any fetus that is not viable outside the womb is no different from a corn or wart and can be removed at will."
Have you seen an ultrasound of a baby at 12wks gestation? Not viable outside the womb but can suck its thumb already. I have an ultrasound photo of my daughter at 12wks gestation sucking her thumb.
To: Gophack
"I honestly do not believe that most women who "choose" to abort really know what they are doing."
I know a girl in Canada who aborted her baby at 3mths along and she honestly thought that they weren't even fully formed or looked like babies by then. I showed her an ultrasound photo of my daughter sucking her thumb at 12wks along and now I feel bad for her because she realized her mistake too late and has had a hard time with it. I would've showed her earlier but I didn't know she was even pregnant until it was too late because she was afraid her mom would find out she was pregnant out of wedlock (even though she was 20something her mom would've had fits.) Of course, in Canada the health care system pays for abortions.

You are trying to convince the wrong person...
or did you mean this as a response to "Servant of the Nine"?
To: Hanging Chad
I looked back at it and I think I meant to respond to SO9 but I took his quote from your post.
