Another good slogan -- it should be a bumper sticker. In the meantime it makes a great tag line!
A question for you New York area FReepers. Were there demonstrations in New York (or the New York area), or did protesters travel to D.C.? If there were protests in NY, what did the general population have to say about them?

AWESOME!
One of my freeper buddies suggested holding up a sign with a big arrow that points at the anti-war bunch and says "friends of Hussein gather here" or "supporters of terrorism here" and the like.

Thanks for this great news!
The DC Freepers and their honorable guests are great people.
Of course would any of this had happened if not for Free Republic? No! If Free Republic was not here, the lunatics would have had a free run in DC and around the country.
This is a prime example of why every good Freeper should be a monthly donor to Free Republic.
Can anyone imagine the nightmare we would live in if not for the presence of Free Republic?
Please cancel a subscription to a left wing fish wrap.
Then, from your monthly savings, please send at least $5/mo to Free Republic to keep it up and running.
Make Free Republic a 24/7 nightmare and day time terror machine that scares the hell out the left wing lunatics.
Please, donate $5/month to Free Republic. That is just 17 cents a day to help Keep America Strong!

Let him who desires peace prepare for war.
Flavius Vegetius Renatus
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles..
William Shakespeare
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
John Stuart Mill
Peace is not an absence of war, it is a virtue, a state of mind, a disposition for benevolence, confidence, justice.
Baruch Spinoza
No man can sit down and withhold his hands from the warfare against wrong and get peace from his acquiescence.
Woodrow Wilson
The name of peace is sweet, and the thing itself is beneficial, but there is a great difference between peace and servitude. Peace is freedom in tranquillity, servitude is the worst of all evils, to be resisted not only by war, but even by death.
Marcus Tullius Cicero
And last but not least
In Italy for thirty years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love; they had five hundred years of democracy and peace and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.
Orson Welles

It seems so unbalanced..our side has less than 100 people and the idiots have thousands.Wrong! Our side has millions -- it's just that they have jobs and families to attend to.

Were there demonstrations in New York (or the New York area), or did protesters travel to D.C.? They came to DC. Couple of Bus Load of SEIU locals from Brooklyn and elsewhere. I'd love to see ANSWER hold a protest in NYC. Preferrably close to ground zero.
To: Xthe17th
WOW!!!! Thanks to all of the Washington DC Freepers. I have been really upset because all I have heard are the reports about the anti-war protesters and NOTHING about those standing up for our troops and our President.
God bless all of you that went to the rally. God bless our troops and our great nation.
To: Delphinium
Well, I was happy to be there with you. Not sure if we met -- I was handing out press packages by the press table. I'm happy to hear you mention speech against Jews -- I always here much of that. It's absolutely unforgiveable. And unforgiveable that the media doesn't cover it.
To: Jimmy Valentine's brother
But they're going to hold a protest in NYC. On February 15th, JV's bro. You going?
