NEW YORK CITY MAYOR FUMED OVER 'SMOKING' ON STAGE AT STONES CONCERT; BAND RACED OUT OF GARDEN AVOIDING COPS

**Exclusive**

New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg is fuming mad over Rolling Stones members smoking on stage at Madison Square Garden during an nationally televised concert this weekend, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

"The mayor sent cops to issue summonses," one stage source told the DRUDGE REPORT late Saturday. "But the cops watched the show, off stage, by a monitor, instead of stopping the concert."

MORE

HBO cameras captured band members Keith Richards and Ron Wood smoking cigarettes while performing.

"The band raced out of the Garden after they finished their last number, avoiding the police," an insider said. "The music had not even finished playing; and they were in cars already, spinning away. The did not even go to their dressing rooms!"

In December, ex-smoker Mayor Michael Bloomberg signed a strict smoking ban in New York City.

Bloomberg is also trying to get smoking banned in Central Park.

NEW YORK CITY SMOKERS' CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE STATE ECOMOMY -2001

It was more in 2002, however, with the huge increase in taxes this past year, this is dropping.

How long will this smoking ban last when entertainers and such start taking their business to Jersey instead of NYC? Isn't NYC in big budget trouble as it is? What's this guy thinking.

When this first came out, it was on the FRONT PAGE of the Japanese Newspaper. They are now looking for another state to spend their money.

BloomingIdiot is just that: A BLOOMING CONTROLLING IDIOT!

Unfortunatly, Hillary and Schumer would have been elected anyway, even if the elections were honest. Loozio didn't stand a chance here in the city. I know more people in this area who voted for Shillary than Loozio, sad as this may seem. NYC remains a bastion of Leftism, as represented by our city council, Blunderberg, Nadler, Weiner, Maloney, Major Owens...

"The cops had the common sense to realize how IDIOTIC it would look to stop a live televised concert just to issue tickets for smoking."

It could have caused chaos and rioting, and the Stones don't need another Altamont under their belt.

Go ahead and doubt if you will...my aunt DID call the Board of Elections about it, and was told that someone DID cast a write-in vote in Grandpa's name (you're right about not "knowing" who he voted for, but that "thank you note" sure gives us a good clue).
Since Hillary was on the ballot, how could it have been a write-in vote for her?

WHAT AN ASS BLOOMBERG IS! What are his approval ratings--somewhere around 25%? The guy knows he's a one-termer and is determined to have his cretinous policies enacted into law before he's booted out onto his rear end. Can you imagine the reaction if the concert had been stopped so Bloomie's goon squad could hand over a summons? Latest news is--the Stones raced out after the concert, not even hitting the dressing rooms, to avoid the police.

Un-frigging-believable. This is life in the 21st century. Makes me want to build that cabin in the Yukon, just so I can find a place where the city/state/feds won't be looking out for my 'best interests' against my will.

Bloomberg is about power and he is not about truth. People do not have to listen to him and can smoke in peace. He also is an obsessed cleanser, ethnic and cultural too. People cannot do their jobs, you have to destroy them of their respective duties if they dare light up.

Bloomberg is going to be a winner of the political Darwin Award. Truth will boil up and he will be kicked out.

Possibly. The rest of the state isn't as far to the left as the city.
Quite literally my whole neighborhood and the surrounding environs voted against her, stating that she was Arkansas trailer trash and a carpetbagger.
Some of the guys I know from further upstate also had this same group vote happen.
The wailing here once it was confirmed that the Witch had been foisted on us, that we'd been hit with the alien facehugger, was hard to bear. It was so disappointing.

You forgot the state assembly, Sheldon Silver.
He acts like he is accountable to no-one. And pretty much, he isn't.

Simple. In NY, if you show up to vote and they don't have your name on the rolls, they simply hand you a write-in ballot. They do not ask for any proof of identity.

You could literally walk into any polling place in the state, tell them, "My name is Mickey Mouse and I'm supposed to vote here," and they are NOT ALLOWED to question you. You will receive a write-in ballot, a pencil, and instructions on how to fill it out. Once you have done so, you can go on your merry way.

Regards,
