CALL YOUR SENATORS -- TELL THEM GOP WON THE ELECTION -- GOP COMMITTEE CHAIRMEN NEEDED ASAP
For those of you that may not know, the DemocRATs in control of the Senate Minority led by ms. clinton (don't be fooled by anyone -- she is calling the shots) have decided not to recognize the results of the last election and are maintaining Committee Chairmanship until the Republicans give them what they want.
The Memo below from Roll Call in October laid out their plans. What the DemocRATs did not expect was a Republican controlled Senate so now they are refusing to vote on a continuing resolution to keep the Government running and thus hand over control of the Senate Committees. It is to try and force Republicans to cave into their demands or Republicans will get no Committee Chairmanships. What they want is equal funding for Committees and 50/50 shared committees which is not an option.
There is a thread running about the Senate actions today at:
EVERYONE SHOULD BE WATCHING C-SPAN2
Right now we have 11 newly elected Senators that do not have Committee assignments because of this DemocRAT Obstructionist tactic.
Call your DemocRAT Senators (you have my sympathy) and let them know as a taxpayer you will not tolerate this stunt of theirs to withhold Committee Chairmanships from Republicans. Remind them that there are 11 new Senators without Committees and you are holding them responsible for this attempt on the part of the DemocRATs to hijack the Senate!
If you have Republican Senators, call them and tell them to keep up the fight and that we are behind them 100%!
Please call your Senators now. If you would like their phone numbers, you can find them at:

Thanks!

Oh my gosh, I just called Levin and Stabenaw. You have to called Stabenaw's answering machine. It sounds like " Just Jack" from Will and Grace. I was laughing so hard I could barely speak.

You're right and what this comes down to is Republicans had better get better at communicating our position to the public.
I've always said DemocRATS can lie better than Republicans can tell the truth

What's the damn point?? I e-mailed Boxer and Feinstein anyway. We may think it's not going to do any good, but it's better to light one small candle than to curse the darkness. (Yeah, yeah, I know ;-)
But if you e-mail them, and I e-mail them and maybe hundreds of other California voters e-mail them, it might make a small dent in their thick skulls!

BTW - you're fairly new here. Stick around - we need as many California Freepers as we can get. You'll learn about the power of Free Republic!!! :-)

Sounds similar to what I sent these two witches. (I sort of paraphrased PhiKapMom.)

Keep hearing that Graham is definitely going to throw his hat in the ring for President. Have you heard anything?
Thanks for calling both of them!

I know your frustration. I use to email them all the time but a total waste so instead I have given money to the NRSC.Org. I also followed up with an email informing them if they expect any more contributions then the Republican Senate better start growing some BALLS!!!

I've got Sarbanes and some other Rat that looks like a fire-plug... when you meet her in person. That would be a fire plug with a poodle laying on top of it...

I called them both today; Graham's office told me "he doesn't have a position on the issue" at this point. I of course responded that it surprised me that a Senator considering running for president did not have a position on the democrat attempts to undermine our constitutional form of government. I got the voice machine at Nelson's office and left a voice mail requesting he stand on the floor tomorrow and denounce the democratic tactics. HAHAHA As if any of these will happen! Oh well, made calls to my own senators and to several others as well.

He will have a lot of competition... I think there are still more Dem's that put their name in the hat for POTUS.
I was really looking forward to debating him in a Senate Race.... let's just wait and see what happens...

doesn't the Speaker of the House control the Sergeant-at -Arms, and can't he send him around to knock heads, lock doors and turn over tables?

That would be a fire plug with a poodle laying on top of it... Yes but now that you remind me, [She] looks more like a Boston Bulldog...

I think it's legal up to and until the point where an alligator's been chained to it. After that they do frown upon it.

I use to email them all the time but a total waste so instead I have given money to the NRSC. Don't forget to get a receipt from NRSC and mail it with a short note to your democrat representatives telling them why you donated. ; - )
