Carnival's cruise ship Triumph docked at St. Thomas.

Ahoy, Freepers!  Why not make your next year's vacation a FREEPER CRUISE? Can't think of a better idea!
United we stand for conservative activism AND some good old-fashioned fun, too!

This cruise thread will be running right up until embarkation day.  It'll be packed with lots of information.
Post your enthusiastic comments here.  Links are provided below for stateroom/fares information, registration form and
the Bahama Mama Q&A thread devoted solely to answers for all your cruise questions and to provide you with smooth sailing.

We strongly urge you to register ASAP.  We need a certain number of registrations by a mid-January cutoff date
to ensure our reserved block of cabins with Carnival.  From many communications we've received since last year's terrific cruise,
we're certain the interest is out there.  We don't want to have to deep-six this event if we don't get enough registrations in a timely manner.
PLEASE NOTE to hold off on making your air tickets reservations until we give you the go-ahead.
We have more than ample lead-time for this cruise and you'll be able to get good air-fare bargains in plenty of time!
Since some air-transportation tickets are non-refundable, we don't want anyone to be left holding the ditty-bag.

As an incentive for early registration, the first 20 Freepers to get their reservations into the travel agency
will win their choice of five (5) sheets of Ocents.com stamp sheets (go to that website for Seeking the Truth's array of terrific stamps!)
They will also receive a usflagballoon.com pin courtesy of Abner (check out Abner's usflagballoon website
to view the colorful pin and some excellent pictures of the US Flag Balloon!)  Registrations will be dated and time-stamped by the agency.
Winners will be notified and they'll receive their gift stamps and pins via mail.

We've got a great contest planned for later.  A lucky winner will receive a FREE cabin for two!
Last year, the contest was won by our Freeper pal, Taxman.  This time it may be you!

Bookmark this thread.  We'll keep you posted as plans evolve.  Register now for this fun-filled getaway in the sun!
Informal FRN meetings will be held on board which will be full of information and idea-sharing for effective conservative activism.

Rock the boat with your fellow Freepers!  Climb aboard today!

This page is for general comments about the cruise.
If you have questions, do not post them here.
Use the Bahama Mama link and ask them there.
Thank you!

Listen up, friends! We have a gentleman freeper who's looking for a roomie for our FReeps Ahoy cruise May 31. Prefers non-smoking in cabin, otherwise has no qualms if you're a puffer!

If you're dying to go on our week's dream cruise for an amazing bargain by splitting the cabin fare, freepmail Bahama Mama at "MinuteGal" right now. This may be just what you're looking for!

Freepers, the price of your cabin fare includes all your meals and in-between snacks. It includes all your on-board daytime and nightime activities, entertainment and fun. Plus, you'll enjoy a relaxing voyage to the interesting and exotic tropical islands of the Caribbean.

You'll be all prepaid before you embark, and your only extras are nominal tips, optional drinks, and optional personal purchases on ship or in port.

You'll meet, exchange ideas, debate, discuss dramatic world events or just plain schmooze with other freepers, people like yourself, who share common interests concerning our great Republic.

The hassles of an ordinary vacation are completely eliminated in one convenient cruise package. You don't have to worry about driving long distances plus packing and unpacking every day, or having expensive surprises at restaurants and motels.

You can just lie back and be completely pampered. Or go full blast! Dine like never before. Enjoy great shows. Try your luck in the casino. Take in a current movie. Let your cares float away in the ship's pools or at our freeper beach party on Grand Cayman's Seven Mile Island.

Our special freeper group fares for a week of heaven are unbeatable anywhere. You'll probably never see a bargain like this again.

Get your reservation in today while our rates still hold. Phone our travel agent, Wanda, at toll-free 1-800-890-7583. Only the deposit is due now, and you can do it by credit card. Or freepmail me at MinuteGal for any questions you may have.

You're warming the cockles of my heart with your weather reports from the islands. I'm in Illinois at the moment and it's been frigid. Forecast for tomorrow is 12F.

The sunny tropical weather in the Caribbean will thaw the bones, provide all those healthy vitamins for the body and restoreth the soul. Can't wait!

Bummer!

They finally plan a Freeper Cruise of sufficient length (at least 7 days), with a day at sea on the way back (to wind down) and I can't make it. This calls for my imitation of a liberal. "It's not fair! (whine, whine)"

As it stands, I will be out of the country at that time. I hope you guys have a good time, anyway.

I'll try to make the next Freeper Cruise. If not, maybe we will at least be able to arrange our schedule so as to dock at one or more of the ports at the same time as the Freeper Cruise is in port. One way or the other, I'll either make it on one of these cruises or catch up with it along the way.

Hint: Choose "LATE SEATING". It gives you a lot more time after shore excursions, to get ready for dinner.

ENJOY!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!

Freepers, if you register now, each cruiser gets a $50 discount off the very low cabin rates posted on our registration link at the top of this thread.

In addition, you'll be mailed some great freeper gifts donated by Seeking the Truth and Abner.

PLUS, we'll have another goodie for each cabin. Last cruise, freepers received an FRN "Welcome Aboard" bag filled with lots of donated items to use on board or to take home. They were great!

This cruise, we'll have welcome bags also, with some surprises inside that will absolutely blow you away! Not gonna tell you now what they are, LOL......these items will be a surprise, and you'll love them, wow!

In addition, freeper cruisers will receive great necklace-type name tags, colorfully personalized for this cruise with your name, our FR.com logo and the year. It's something you'll want to keep as a souvenir of this very special freep event.

These attractive name tags will be the handiwork of our own Seeking the Truth. Last cruise, we wore them every day. They came in handy for spotting fellow freepers anywhere on the ship and also while shopping in the busy streets of the islands shops and craft markets. They created attention among other envious passengers as well!

How can you pass up all these cruise bonanzas for as low as $610 FOR A WEEK?

You'll luxuriate in a handsome stateroom, eat yourselves silly on delicious food you don't have to prepare, see Broadway-type shows, hit the fun casino, rock at a freeper beach party in the beautiful Caymans, see or tour breathtaking island vistas....well, we could go on and on.

Time is limited for registrations, y'all. The cruise line hasn't yanked our group rates yet, although they expired Jan.27. Holding our breath!

So phone Wanda, our TravelGal, right away at toll-free 1-800-890-7583 to sign on. She loves freepers and insures everything runs easily for you. If you have questions, post them on the Bahama Mama Q & A thread or freepmail me at "MinuteGal" for a personal reply.

Now read my tag line!

Hello DoughtyOne -

I recognize you as one of the first Freepers - I really want to go and meet all the cyber-friends I've made over the years, however it is very difficult for me to plan that far ahead because of the nature of my business. When is the last day I can commit?

I'd like to answer you, but Leni is the resident expert. She's the one who knows all the details. I'm just the guy they tie behind the boat to kick real hard for six days and seven nights.

I hope to see you there too. That would be nice.

Ask your question on the Bahama Mama thread. It's liked at the beginning of this thread.

Take care.

Hello Leni -

I really want to go, but the nature of my business prevents me from committing at this time. When is the last day I can commit?

There are so many Freepers I have grown to know and admire and I would love to meet many of you in person - I did not read the entire thread, so if this question has been answered here, I apologize.

Could you also please answer:

Approximately how many are going?

Ratio of men to women?

Your best estimate of singles vs. married couples?

Age range and average age if possible?

Thanks in advance! (I'm sure others may be curious as well...)

Regrettably, the casino tab turns out not to be included in this otherwise comprehensive list.

My own recommendation is to charge your chips to Bob J's room.
