Drudge had the photo of a Raelin on his web site. I think this is Cato Kaelin's clone. Maybe someone's been cloning for a while?

The group which claimed the first birth of a cloned human last week says a second such baby has now been born to a Dutch lesbian couple. Oh let me guess they won't test the DNA on this baby either

Would someone tell this Rael guy in the white outfit that the Trekkie convention was last month. He must have missed it. But seriously, for a group that believes that the way to eternal life is through cloning, the sect has an awful lot of sex. Stories about this cult were most interesting in the paper last week.

I think that if they really want to be believed they need to submit proof. Then they can't be arrested and jailed.

I have a cloned baby too. Yeah, that's right. Two of them. And they are for sale. They look just like....er, cats. Yeah, that's it.

Let's all start guessing the reason that this baby will not have it's DNA tested.
I'll go first:
"We're Dutch and we're lesbians and we don't want any more attention focused on us at this time."

Perhaps the media should stop giving this group any press at all until they show some proof!!!!

The Washington Post ^ | January 1, 2003 | The Washington Post Staff A claim of human cloning? It's been done before '78 announcement was ruled a fraud; new case awaiting validation 01/01/2003 The Washington Post For all the speed with which science was progressing, virtually no one thought it would happen so soon. Yet there it was in huge block letters on the front page of the New York Post: The world's first human clone had been born. The next day, The Washington Post and other newspapers across the country ran with the story about the rogue scientists who had cloned a human on an undisclosed island. A spokesman connected to... |

Y'know...Drudge could get to the next level if he would only leave the National Enquirer stuff alone. I really like and respect the guy for his hard work, intuition and connections, but his obsession with the entertainment industry and this BS is insane...

Would Christopher Reeve SINCERELY turn down the chance for a new body cloned from himself which could potentially house his memories and consciousness? What if we can clone a human NOT to have the parts of the brain associated with sophisticated human thought? Then Christopher Reeve's memory lobes could theoretically be transferred to the new, more primitive version of his brain in the walking version of himself. Shouldn't he get the chance to make the decision?

How can a 2nd clone be born when there hasn't yet been a first?
