This comes from someone I know and whom I trust. No, I am not making this up. You know Hillary. It is not necessary to invent anything.

It is an honor to be a Marine stationed in the White House as a guard. Isn't it? Well, if you are in the White House when Hillary Clinton is there, perhaps not.

This true story comes from a woman who is very proud of her Marine nephew. I am sure you have heard the stories from Gary Aldrich about how ranking officers were used to serve food in the White House. This particular young Marine, proud to serve his country, was on duty near Ms. Clinton, the first evil lady at the time. It seems that her coffee cup was nearly empty and she had the audacity to tell the guard to go get her more coffee. His proper response with both dignity and respect was, "Ma'am, I'm not allowed to leave my post, ma'am." But Hillary wouldn't quit. She ordered him again and he gave the same response. So what did the first evil lady do? SHE THREW THE REMAINING COFFEE FROM HER CUP IN HIS FACE!!!

If I may, I would like to weigh in once more.

This entire thread consists of nothing but the worst sort of rumormongering and should be yanked ESPECIALLY because it is about Herr Hitlery.

I would hope Free Republic would insist on higher standards and various members would recognize that unsourced, unsubstantiated allegations cannot be tolerated in a rational environment for Free People.

The fact this thread has drawn 181 responses of which possibly half a dozen are muted protests is disgraceful.

I have known Doug for years and can attest that he would not post "unsourced, unsubstantiated allegations". He has researched this subject well. I can assure you that if the subject in question were conservative the mainstream media would run with it. I suggest you read some of Barbara Olson's books which also were very well researched. Also, watch the Juanita Broderick interview and tell me who is lying...

I offered the OPINION this entire thread should be yanked because it is the worst sort of rumormongering as it contains unsourced, unsubstantiated allegations of the "friend of a friend of friend swore to me" variety against someone who is worthy of contempt for the DOCUMENTED activities in which she participated.

Truth is an absolute defense. If you will post verifiable background information substantiating your allegations I will have nothing further to say.

Until then I remain of the opinion this type of rumormongering is not worthy of the bandwidth on Free Republic.

It has nothing to do with your integrity but it has everything to do with your actions.

Even in the propaganda press journalism requires two verifiable sources.

If you are willing to identify an "Aunt" who is proud of her nephew that pride should extend to the country he serves and respect demands she either make public allegations or find some credible way to publish her account.

As for the abuse button, it is my understanding the abuse button goes directly to the duty moderator. If I intended to report abuse I would not have manually typed in the addresses for all the world to see.

In case I have not spoken clearly let me repeat: I THINK (that would be an opinion) this type (throwing coffee in a Marine's face) of ad homeniem attack is disgraceful,unnecessary, and counterproductive.
