Yeah. Those guys at least had a good time for a few hours.
Hope they make it back home soon. (And with a few stories to tell. Would love to see some of them here at FR. Makes me wish for my days in uniform again.)

That photo of the Afghani guy and his bicycle on the wood truck is really great- a keeper.

It's nice seeing the 3rd Infantry- Rock of the Marne!. I finished out my career in the 1st Infantry- Big Red One- but the best years of my service were spent with the 3rd, some in the 15th Regiment. Audie Murphy was in the 15th. The unit's got some great history.

I counted only one combat veteran out of those guys (right shoulder unit patch- the trooper got his with the 101st). Couldn't tell much else about him except he's carrying 2 weapons for some reason. There might've been some more except they were wearing MOPP suits so it makes it hard to tell. I'd reckon they'll all be getting one (combat patch, CIB) pretty soon.
