No text yet, just a radio report at the end of Rush's show.
Must be worried about the Russert report this morning that he is 'Far' from the 26 votes needed for a Senate Caucus victory.

As much outrage that boob has created, I cant help but think this guy is either the dumbest man on Earth, or ignorant beyond all possiblity. That or he is right. Which I cant bring myself to think he is.

The best thing for blacks would be for Lott to stay, he'll be busy overcompensating to prove he has changed.

ABC reported Gore won Florida in 2000.
Those Senators are in their home districts for the holidays. They are getting an earfull from their home bases. Much could change between now and Jan 6. Lott's lot (pardon the pun) isn't set in concrete for him to retain ML.

"Jesse Jackson is on Fox News taking up for Lott. LOL!"That can't be good news. The only reason that Jesse Jackson would be standing up for Lott would be if there was something in it for Jesse Jackson.

You betcha. That's why this story's been planted. The 'Craps just realized that if they are successful at driving Neville out of SML, they'll lose their biggest lever against Bush.
Sort of like Toricelli. We did such a good job of demonstrating what a crook he is, the 'Craps panicked and pulled him off the ticket. Add one pliable NJSC, and you have a seat held by an ancient 'Crap.

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!!! Now that they realized that the Republicans might kick Lott out, the Rats are now sticking up for him. They realize that if Lott doesn't quit the Senate, that they are much better off with him still as ML. All the more reason that the GOP has to remove Lott as ML.

LOL!! Good for him. Senator Lott, I disagree with your political stance on many occasions but I don't like seeing anyone offered up to the multiculturalists by their own party

Oh Lord. Anytime Jackasson is defending a Republican, you know someone made a deal with the devil. So who's the devil? Lott or Jackson?

Trent Lott is beginning to remind of Hitler in his final days in the bunker, ordering around those imaginary Germany army divisions which no longer existed.

The Shep just skewered him on the "Hymietown" quote, and Jesse's lies about it.

Well, if Jesse gets the Senate to retain Lott at ML, then Jesse and the Black Caucus can force Lott toward their issues (i.e., overcompensation). It is a way for Jesse and the Black Caucus to get the upper hand over Lott and put Lott at a power disadvantage. (Buy out; sell out; shakedown--sounds like the making of a rap song)

This statement probably ensures that the vote will be after Christmas now.
Trent was reeling this morning after that interview last night.
