It's been 27 years since I have been to So Cal but my trips "home" to Fresno give me a clue. Humboldt county has more Indians than brown or blacks however we have more than our share of tree huggers.

Well, I'd much rather be hanging with you guys, but I'll be freezing my tail in that cradle of Liberty, Boston (of all places).

BUT, Mr. Clam, if you can take the time off from your finals, this is the event that I was pitching at the Republican victory party last month. While you're at it, why not drag Prof. Volkh along to liven things up?

Mr. B, see you next month for sure.

FReegards, and merry Christmas and a happy new year to the lot of you!

My dear, after the speaker, we all adjourn to the patio area, where most of us partake in the deliciouness of a good after meal smoke. Or several. Cigars are welcome as well.

We have a wonderful patio area where we enjoy fine cigars and cigarettes. The lively conversations held on the patio are one of the most memorable parts of "ATF Night."

Dr. Volokh has been the Featured Speaker at ATF Night several times in the past. I do hope you'll come and bring him with you this Thursday. He ALWAYS adds something special to the event!

It's one of the only pro-CCW cities in the Los Angeles area, thanks to their cheif of police. Low crime rate, too (not surprising).

We'll miss you!

Hope you can make it in January (ATF Night is ALWAYS the 3rd Thursday of every month, and ALWAYS at the San Gennaro Cafe) - our Featured Speaker will be a famous hollywood producer who works amongst the radical liberals and is infiltrating their thoughts and projects with Pro-Gun points of view!

Please remove from ping list. Not in your district.

If I were in your district, I would want to be hearing about the budget, whereas this appears to be a single issue event.

The budget is the top issue I campaigned on in my race for the Assembly, and will continue to be one of my top priorities.

I do, however, support the Constitution of the United States, and all its Amendments, and have been the host of "ATF Night" for several years now.

If ever you'd like to attend one of our gatherings, we'd be happy to discuss any issue you'd like to bring up. Although this particular gathering is centered around the Second Amendment, you'll find a great many patriots who are vitally concerned about all aspects of our Federal and State governments, and the way our "representatives" spend OUR money has a tremendous impact on all of our freedoms.

Thank you for telling me of your specific interest.

Oh, and for the future, please remember that EVERY member of the state Assembly, no matter what district they hail from, DIRECTLY AFFECTS YOUR LIFE, since although they are elected by their Districts, they make laws governing the ENTIRE state.

So regardless of where someone may live, they still have a vested interest in who is elected from every District.

Take care,

--- John
