An Arizona man who received a "strange and mysterious" e-mail apologizing for the slaying of a Red Bluff cop launched investigators on the trail of an ex-Army private who was arrested four days later in New Hampshire.
Neil Wright, 50, said he had received an e-mail from "Mitch Stephens" at americanresistance@yahoo.com at about 6 p.m. Friday on his home computer in Lake Havasu City and called police an hour later.

Following the *reasoning* in Mickel/McCrae's *manifesto* which you pointed out amd posted in your post #136.... I suspect it might be very interesting to compare Mickel'McCrae's provable whereabouts on the evening of 11 October 2001, on which the murder of another law enforcement official took place,in the Seattle area, also shot in the head and throat by multiple gunshots during a surprise attack, also during the hours of darkness and in which it also appears a handgun was used.
It might be a particularly interesting case in which to compare ballistic evidence recovered in that case with that from Officer Mobilio's murder, or any other weapons known to have neen in Mickel/McCrae's possession. Neil, kindly advise your Red Bluff detective contacts of this possibility.
It seems McCrae will be fighting extradition. That may offer a longer and better opportunity to check out his possible wherabouts or involvement in atrocities elsewhere.

While following this story I have surfed onto some underground sites, and they also HATE FReepers, they have posted some of our posts on their links, commenting on our posts, they truely dispise us. Unbelieveable!!!
Neil, did you ever think you'd be described in this way? Congrats! Job well done!
It sure does. I was thinking the same thing. BTW, Wittenberg University has taken down Faculty and Adminstration contact addresses on its website. Not only did Prof. Mickel duck from view, but all his colleagues and bosses did too!
As for Mickel/McCrae's insane manifesto above, he makes at least one factual howler. He confuses Goering with Goebbels.
This fact alone will make any trial very interesting. If brainwashing is a possible defense, McCrae may have an out. McCrae would certainly not be the first, nor the second, wack-job student associated with the Evergreen State College to murder someone.
He was arrested there in April for obstructing a sidewalk, apparently at a political protest, police said.
Only in the Peoples Socialist State of Washington could one be arrested for obstructing a sidewalk. I'm not surprised.
How are we going to protect Americans from our own politicians?
