Members of the USS DECATUR DDG 73 come here often to lurk.
In fact they "know" many of us in here.
So I thought it would be nice to "dock" their ship in the USO Canteen today.
There is a lot of info about the crew, the ship and pics on their site.
Just Click on any Pic to visit their site.

Here are the INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIANS
that connect the ship to the internet.

I will call it a night...God bless you, my dear Canteeners, Troops, Allies, Vets, Volunteers and last but not least, to the family of those who have served and are currently serving our country.
To: LaDivaLoca
Thank you dear lady. A truly beautiful graphic, as you are beautiful.
To: LaDivaLoca
Good night and sleep well, Diva. Thank you for all the terrific graphics you find for our troops.

Seven, this is terrible. When will the Palestinians get the message that all this murdering of innocents will continue the circle of violence forever.

"Ms feather, I'm way behind, but just got to your poem for your Uncle Fran. What a wonderful man. You were truly blessed. Thank you for sharing him."
Ditto to what Kathy said, Ms Feather! How special.

Another great Coast Guard Day today!
Spent most of the day learning new software programs for my new Operations Office duties.
Then in the afternoon was out on one of the 47' boats while it was practicing towing the other 47' boat.
Several of my Brothers made it a point to tell me how much they appreciate me pitching in in the Operations Office.
When I was just doing radio watches I was only freeing up one person.
Now I free up several in the same amount of time.
LOTS of big changes coming with change to Homeland Security Dept.
I can say "I was there when....."
