That top she was wearing was unlike anything I've seen her wear when she knew she would be seen on nationwide TV. It looked so "unlike" her that I wonder if she borrowed it from someone else.

My first thought, when I saw her, was that she was hoping to look like a Grandmother, by wearing an outfit that would look perfectly fine on a Grandmother, but looked out-of-place on her. The colors. The style.

Was she jealous that Pelosi is stressing her own Grandmotherliness? ("I will be Grandmother to all Americans," is what Pelosi said, in effect, a day or so before.)

Pelosi should not have had all those face lifts and Botox injections if she wanted to stress her grandmotherliness.

Democrats certainly do have a problem with knowing who they are. All image, no substance.
