Shame on you for laughing at Billie's cake! She tried so hard. :-)
He grew up in Huntsville but his father's side is from Birmingham .. the nicest folks you'd ever meet
But I have to admit after a few days of being around them I started to get that southern twag .. LOL .. I was sooo afraid they'd think I was making fun ..
His mom is a Yankee she is orginally from Mass
OH MY GOODNESS .. FOFL .. no I haven't done that
To call that cake "baking" is to call Bill Clinton "ethical." But--your "baking" skills notwithstanding--congratulations Mo on your big day!
It was at this point things started to fall apart. Best I can tell it was "imprecise" measuring that did us in. Granted we were slowed up a bit, cause Letitring's feet kept sticking to the floor. Somehow she ended up with as much sugar on the floor, counters and stovetop as was in the saucepan. We were undaunted, she kept stirring and swore she never once took her eyes off the candy thermometer. LOL. I can't 'splain exactly happened next, indications are sumtin' blew 'cause more of the praline mixture ended up on the walls and in Letitring's (Ringy) hair than did on the cooling sheets and it seemed to set up just fine for it took a couple of days to remove it all. The same can't be said for the rest. FOFLOL. Actually, the half that was left wasn't all that bad if you aren't too picky and don't mind eating pralines with a spoon.
Yes, so you better be careful. You never know what's coming next. :-)
