FOFLOL. Trust me, I'll never be able to do the story justice. In the spirit it of the holidays last year, Letitring agreed to make pralines, with her own hands, for a charity affair. Problem is, she doesn't cook, doesn't know the first thing about a kitchen. Panic set in. So, since I'm in Louisiana she enlisted my help. FOFLOL. Together, over the phone and through freepmail, we shopped for ingredients and assembled a collection of needed utensils. It took a while but we were on our way. How hard could this be, right ? Wrong. FOFLOL. The test batch wasn't what we hoped for and like Mo's first efforts necessitated a second run to the grocery store.

It was at this point things started to fall apart. Best I can tell it was "imprecise" measuring that did us in. Granted we were slowed up a bit, cause Letitring's feet kept sticking to the floor. Somehow she ended up with as much sugar on the floor, counters and stovetop as was in the saucepan. We were undaunted, she kept stirring and swore she never once took her eyes off the candy thermometer. LOL. I can't 'splain exactly happened next, indications are sumtin' blew 'cause more of the praline mixture ended up on the walls and in Letitring's (Ringy) hair than did on the cooling sheets and it seemed to set up just fine for it took a couple of days to remove it all. The same can't be said for the rest. FOFLOL. Actually, the half that was left wasn't all that bad if you aren't too picky and don't mind eating pralines with a spoon.
