Katherine Harris won the 13th Congressional District seat in the U.S. House of Representatives for Florida's southwest coast, defeating Democrat Jan Schneider by 55 percent to 45 percent - a double digit victory -

As Florida secretary of state in 2000, Harris was vilified by Democrats and likened to puppy-snatching cartoon villainess Cruella De Vil when she certified George W. Bush the winner over Al Gore

Her clothing and make-up were the butt of jokes on late-night television shows and criticized by numerous liberal print "journalists"

Put the plug in the jug, you guys. Katherine Harris is a nice woman and deserves her House seat after what the dems said and did to her but she is no doll and she isn't particularly young. For a time there two years ago she was the most villified woman in the world. I'm glad to see a nice things happen for her.
