"The LA election was grandfathered in the bill. Unlimited soft money can be spent"
Thank you. I was just talking about that and I wasn't sure I remembered correctly.

Reporting from Honolulu: Linda Lingle UP 1% in first printout!!! GO GO GO!!!! Are you finding results online? I need to chase the kids upstairs to watch their Spiderman DVD so I can have the TV on the local news. None of my usual websites (Hawaiichannel.com) have anything up yet.

His numbers are right.
Your numbers are right King... previous posting that fhayek replied to contained transposed figures. FREEGARDS.

There were machine breakdowns in Tarrant County (Ft. Worth-Arlington). The votes are being hand-counted.
For some reason the conventional wisdom at the networks is that there are lots and lots of votes for Kirk in that batch. I don't see it. Tarrant County is pretty conservative.
The White House has been conducting its own exit polling, apparently, and they have already called to congratulate Cornyn, according to FoxNews' Jim Engle.
And the WH also insists that the Senate seat in MN is going GOP.

Bush was leading for a while in California in 2000. So I wouldn't trust any early results from there that favor Simon, unfortunately.

GW phoned Thurmun's opponent to congratulate her, so Thurmun must be toast. She's been my congresswoman, puke!

"Is victory possible?"Yes. Victory is ALWAYS possible.
I'm trying to decide on going to bed now, and dreaming sweet dreams of a GOP controlled Senate and all those GOP gubenitorial wins....or whether to crack another beer and stay here for another hour. Choices choices.
We lost in PA...another beer.

AP called Colorado for Allard

Anyone know which counties are being counted in CA?
Nothing yet from either San Francisco nor Los Angeles, which are the core of Davis' support.
If I were a betting man, I'd still bet on Davis.

Simon 48%
Davis 44% Fred Barnes picked Simon as his "long shot" on "The Beltway Boys" this weekend. Mort laughed at him. I'm laughing now Mor-ton. Where's John McLaughlin when you need him?
Is Simon a conservative or a RINO?

AP declares that ALLARD wins in CO!!!!!

Write-In WRITE-IN (OTHER) 51 0.07 Does this mean that 51 people wrote "write-in" on the line for write-in candidates? Is this an indication of 51 stupid voters or is it a hodge-podge of 51 different people?
AP just called CO for Allard. WH confident in TX & MN, MO looking good.
Isn't about time for Hillary to sing?
