Anyone know which counties are being counted in CA? I'm very encouraged but wonder if they're counting us here in Orange County but not San Francisco yet.

The CNN website is projecting a victory for Cornyn in the Senate race in Texas. He has 56% of the votes, with 47% of precincts reporting.
Still keeping our fingers crossed here though!

Does anyone know how campaign finance will effect the Louisana race. Nobody is saying anything about it!!!!!According to an ABC report LA is not effected by the campaign finance laws and 'the soft money should come pouring in.' I don't necessarily know what it means but it sounds to me like a TON of cash is going to be spent in LA.
To: Brimack34
If you have any money whatsoever invest in a Louisana radio station for the next 29 days.

Congressional District 01 Race (65% Precincts Reporting)
Max Sandlin DEMOCRAT Number of Votes: 61322 (58%) Incumbent
John Lawrence REPUBLICAN Number of Votes: 44527 (42%) Challenger

Liberal KGO 810 in S.F. is absolutely beside themselves over Simon's lead. At first they were making a joke with the very early returns saying that "this is likely the only time tonight we'll be saying that Simon's winning." Now, their scrambling ... saying that the Green Party turnout has affected the election. Worth listening to for a few laughs!

12% in 82k to 67k Coleman leads Mondale in MN. Fox News. Side note Colemans wife is very attractive.

President Bush moved closer to having a Republican-controlled Congress as the GOP edged toward both seizing control of the Senate and maintaining control of the House. As Republican challengers ran strongly against four Democratic senators, Senate Democratic leader Tom Daschle told NBC News, It looks like a Republican night.
From the MSNBC site, too hard to format, so here is the link:
