As do I. Also some pesos, litas, liras, and euros.
Lookin' better here in West River. (for those of you who aren't familiar with South Dakota politcs...West River is traditionally Republican, with some exceptions...and East River is traditionally Democrat, with some exceptions.)

Per FNC. Allard looks likely to hold. KKT Loses.

This is typed with sadness before going to bed here in Canada.
Please no flame war in thread.
Maybe some of us Democratic Leadership (oxymoron?) naysayers had some logic to our concerns. This is not an I told you so.
Just can we now come to an agreement that change needs to happen.
The south has now won the civil war.
Its time to fight.
Please come together and listen to all and give all a voice here.
Love
Bill
More DU nonsense

LA has an open non partisan primary system. So any and all that want to run, pay your money and step up. Since the first race is today, then to win you need 50% +1 to win out right, otherwise the two top vote getters square off in a run off, in this case on Dec. 7. They don't have individual party primaries in LA. Thus this is the first primary run, open to any and all.... To hold this any other earlier date under their system would be in violation of the US Constitution regarding the date of electing Fed offices, because if one was to win 50% +1 in some early date then they would have been elected to the Senate or House... Long rambling answer but hope you understand

I can't imagine how the DU'ers will react to this.
To: kingedgars
There is a Repub tsunami happening in the House right now, there is one "INC" after the next being shown on CNN for the "R" column.
Kath Kennedy Townsend now picked the loser!
To: cake_crumb
JEB FOR PREZ IN '08??? I'm in. And Keyes for VP. I can dream, can't I?
To: TonyInOhio
Now if they can just run a real candidate and spend some money against Sarbanes or Mikulski (Sarbanes a better bet, I swear I see him on TV no more than once a year...) instead of some weird old guy.
I'd go back to my earlier idea had Ehrlich lost, and adjust it...try running a Black Republican against Sarbanes, spend some dough, and see what happens.

I'd sing if Peter won...............

"Can you say 'BUSH MANDATE?' !!!!!!"YES!!
...but I'll cautiously celebrate tomorrow...or whenever THIS election if finally over.

Allard still looking very strong.
Leads Strickland 53 -44 with 31% in.
This could be the next race they call for the GOP!

Duers' New Name = ASS-CLOWNS got to love it.
To: GnL
McCallum 'trouncing' Doyle in Waukesha Co., but Doyle doing well in dem strongholds of Racine, Kenosha, Milwaukee. Jeff Wagner sounds optimistic McCallum can pull it off based on McCallum with over 40% in Milwaukee, Sykes more reserved.

Pray for those of us in the Peoples Republik of Kalifornia... we need your help!
I voted this evening in Lancaster; they were still using the punch card system.
Thank God for the California Republican Assembly voting guide... I copied their recommendations and handed out a dozen copies to true Republicans at work.
... back to watching Fox News

We call it Parishes because of our French heritage and Catholic roots. We also have open primaries. Anyone who qualifies runs but they have to net a majority to win it.
Also Landrieu ran as a pro-Bush Democrat. Her speech tonight was "we must oppose Bush". Hope we nail her skank ass.
