Any word on the Alabama Govs race Currently 52-46 Siegelman over Riley with 52% reporting, but Riley has been steadily closing the gap as more precincts report.

Local 9 o'clock in St. Louis had Carnahan winning but those were votes from Jackson County ( Kansas City ) St. Louis City and St. Louis County. Nothing from the rural areas, Springfield, or St. Charles County, Conservative/Republican strongholds. Also had video from St. Louis City where there appeared to be more police and Federal Marshalls around than voters.

DUh ALERT:
#1. have an omelette made with thumbtacks.
#2. watch all my ann coulter videos till i vomit.
#3. make a cute voodoo pin doll of jeb bush.
#4. put bacon on my groin and let a weasle attack me.
#5. burn an effigy of judy woodruff on my front lawn.
#6. dress in a frumpy red dress like liz dole and troll the streets for new meat.
#7. trim my toenails with a tazer gun.
#8. drench my body in bacardi 151 rum and light up some crack.
#9. nail my nads to the floor and torch the house.
..and the number one thing i'd rather do than watch election returns,
#10. play a vinyl l.p. of bloodrock's "D.O.A." backwards at top volume while tripping on monkey tranqs hanging upside down on a meat hook in the rain till sunrise on november 5th when the whole mess is over.
I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP, IT'S A REAL DUh POST.

Rats got caught on this one!
According to the supervisor of elections, not a single request for extra ballots was made within the extra time ordered by the judge.
Calls by the DNC began as early as 6:30PM telling voters the polls would remain open. The Supervisor was not notified until 7:19 PM.
The whole thing was a ruse. The same one they pulled in St. Louis in 2000 and elected the dead guy!

Here's my rationalization. This is not an overwhelming victory -- and in many ways not really a victory at all -- for the puglicansOnly a DUmmy thinks a loss is a victory. May they have victory after victory from here on out.

In Florida, How many tried to vote and didn't get to? Nationwide, what did taxpayers pay for Bush's campaigning including transportation costs, Federal initiatives like the Florida Costal protection, and time spent campaigning by White House and other staffers? Why weren't major stories, like Harvey Pitt, campaign issues? How is a triple amputee Vietnam vet seen as "soft" on defense while a draft dodging Repug hunting evil doers is seen as "tough"? Sucky night.... -SF

If Ehrlich doesn't win, only hope to ever take the governorship is to run a Black Republican. You're right. I hope they run Mike and I hope he's willing to to it.
I've worked with him a few times in PG County and though I've only spoken to Erlich a few times, I'd say Steel is the brighter bulb.
Personally, I think they should have run more ads with Steele.
