Why don't you people find another way to entertain yourself. Amen! I may not like his politics, but he was over there protecting us. God Bless him. I just hope he doesn't win the election.

A while ago, I heard on Fox News round table, someone say (I cannot remember who) that the Republicans spent a million dollars on a study to determine that a simple "knock on the door campaign" works.
I could have told them that for free. In my largely Republican district here in Southeast Missouri, I am called on, as a volunteer, to stuff and lick envelopes asking for contributions for the least amount being $25.00. Also, invitations for an event costing a couple $125.00 to attend for finger sandwiches and a tour of the host's home.
It is about time that the Republican party realize that the peons that work to stuff envelopes to parties can be utilized to even greater productivity. We can go to doors and knock and get out the vote like the dems.
When will the Republican party realize that it is grassroot efforts that win?

No, but you do look rather disheveled. ;-)It's Tuesday. I'm always disheveled on Tuesdays.

Thanks all for info re: Cleland.

I so want to do a Republican victory dance, but after 2000, I think I'll wait until morning. You, too? Yep, 50,000 votes can easily come out of nowhere for the Dims.

Thanks for your updates. Mr. Rushmore and I both went to school at MIZZOU. We are interested in this race as well as our South Dakota (dead "Native Americans" can vote too) elections.

Local NBC TV St. Louis station reporting that with 20% in Carnahan 50%, Talent 48%. They made no other comment, no gave any indication WHAT PRECINCTS were counted in the 20%.

From DU: And we'll have to put up with media whores calling Bush the greatest president in history for bucking the mid-term trend. I'm physically sick. ROFL!!!! What a lovely comment...made my night. After this is all over I'm gonna have to go trolling for some comedy at Democratic Underground....

Great cull! I was prepared to post that one too! ;)
Schadenfreude while I await the returns here in the PRCa!
