My CNN has Huckabee up 52-48 percent after 5 percent.
To: Can i say that here?
Carnahan has jumped out to 50.9-47.8 lead with almost 20% reporting Yes...but FOX claims this is with mostly Carnahan strongholds reporting which really bodes well for Talent in the end.

Pubbies are gonna rock tonight !!!

Yikes! Is that post indicative of the kind of people at DU? There must be some sad sacks over there tonight. I thought everybody was kidding about the suicide watch over there but after reading that, I think it is for real. As bad as things were for us in 2000, I don't think any of us talked about popping Xanax pills.
I got a kick out of "Rethugs." Is that what they call us over there. Oooooo, I am so insulted!

I can't confirm Sandlin losing. I am having trouble posting, it's so bloomin' slow.
Hubbby just called and said his car died. Need to go get him.:) What timing. LOL!

Let it be known to the nation that NBC News has called the election for Jeb Bush ... at 9:41pm EST.

It looks like the Repubs are ahead in every contested Senate race on which there are results, except NJ, MO, and ARK. Things look good so far, but a lot still has to go our way.

Sen Collins (R) just pulled ahead in Maine 52-48 with 8% reporting

" DU'ers need a 12 step program"I don't think DU'ers can even count to 12!
To: tall_tex; fatima
I gather from MSNBC that the White House was timing the release of the Pitt resignation, and then turned to CNN to see Begala AND Carville congratulate the Bush White House on the timing of that release.
Fatima: Take heart on the Rendell thing! For once in PA we have someone against whom we can protest. Pennsylvania will not let that creep mess with abortion or guns. Raise our taxes, sure, whatever the Union boss says. But algorifying the abortion laws or gun laws in PA will result in a 'storming of the castle.'

I know it would be in bad taste for me to say that at this point it looks like Cleland is spinning his wheels,.... Go to your room!.....and no dessert!
LOL!

Umm Folks,
Are we in trouble in Missouri??? Everyone is now saying that Carnahan has jumped out in the lead with 20% reporting in!

I have been listening to New Hampshire republican governor elect Craig Benson deliver his acceptance speech. Benson just said he receied a phone call from President Bush. The President congradulated him and then he told Craig that it's going to be a very good night in New Hampshire..
To: Crawdad; mhking
Gov. Roy Barnes behind in GA? Could he lose?
To: Howlin
Thanks for posting this thread, Howlin.
I wonder if our next generation(s) would understand the level of the anxiety we feel tonight?
