According to this poll, many of the same people that plan to vote for Huckabee, also plan to vote for Pryor. Could this be because of Hutchinson's leaving his wife of 29 yrs for a staffer? If he was a Dem, his constituency would be all the more fired up to re-elect him.
If someone wanted to chastise Hutchinson the proper place to do that is in the Republican primaries. To vote for Pryor as some sort of punishment to Hutchinson is to actually punish yourself, your fellow Arkansans, and Arkansans to come.

Yes, I too was very relieved to hear that Mon-dull-brains was against terrorism. Now that REALLY puts my mind to rest. The old Facist fart doesn't have a clue.

John Zogby is not an honest pollster. He weights his polling questions to reflect favorably on democrat issues and weakly on republican issues.

GA is the key to it all. We win GA, we win.

How many times can I vote?!Just once, unless you're a Democrat and an illegal alien, or dead.

New Jersey was McClellan's home state. It's rare that a state rejects one of its own in a presidential race. In fact, just off the top of my head Gore is the only example I can think of that happening to (aside from 3rd party candidates, of course.) Can any historians out there name any other examples?

The fact that someone even THINKS about voting more than once is BEYOND me. I would NEVER even TRY! It truly amazes me at the thought.

Zogby is polling for Sununu, being paid by him. That's why he doesn't give results.

Turnout is absolutely EVERYTHING in this election.
Pray President Bush turns that trick and Zogby has not been able to factor that in for many places.
Work your tail off tomorrow to help with phoning and driving.

Chambliss has the momentum, and Cleland made a fool of himself in the last debate. Also, the GA GOP is pretty damn fired up about this whole thing.

That's just proof that all demographic breakdowns are worthless in a poll with a sample of this size.

County election officials anticipate big turnout
By: ANNA GARBER, Staff Writer November 05, 2002
A big turnout is expected at the polls Tuesday as Tennesseans elect a new governor and senator and decide on a state lottery to support college scholarships.
Sevier County will be no exception, if early voting is any indication. Liz Nichols of Sevier County Election Commission's staff said 5,790 people have already cast their vote - twice the 2,300 who voted early in August.
"I expect there will be a big turnout," Nichols said.

I agree. Hell, I'm in real estate and 500 calls is a mere warm-up before lunch.

I am very disappointed that Hutchison and Dole were not both knocked off in the primaries. The caliber of Republicans we send to the Hill DOES matter, unless we are just playing some kind of fantasy football. I find myself voting with relish in he primaries, then being very unmotivated to vote in the generals. But, I guess we are getting the candidates most people today want. It's pathetic.

Its very difficult in Arkansas. It has been a long journey building a party from nothing, and I do mean nothing. If it had not been for Win Rockefeller I there still would be no Republican party. Republicans in Arkansas do not have a grass roots which is why the legislature is overwhelmingly Democratic year after year and local offices are Democratic year after year. We don't really have a "farm club" for candidates. We have been lucky to have gained the statewide offices in the last few years. But if we lose those, we are pretty much shut out. Probably our best candidate is Win Paul Rockefeller, but I am thinking he is too family oriented and low key to make the leap to higher office.
