I just want to say how relieved I am that the election is over and how thrilled I am that we have won the senate. Now maybe we can get some good legislation passed and get some quality conservative judges which we so desperately need . I appreciate ALL of you making this a wonderful thread. FReepers in Arkansas worked VERY hard for our conservative candidates, getting out in record numbers and working the polls and campaigning. We are getting bashed left and right by a lot of FReepers and I wish some of you would defend us. This state is so deep in corruption that it might take awhile to pull it out, but in spite of the loss our state suffered last night, I am very encouraged to see Republicans standing up to the rabid, cheating Rats. They didn't like it one bit, but I think ar least they see now that we're not just going to roll over and take it any more. We have a very large contingent of black sheeple Rats and illegal aliens here in addition to the corrupt power brokers, so we are fighting overwhelming odds. Cut us some slack!
While we did suffer a painful loss here last night due to a whole lot of factors, still, America won big and it's about time! Thank ALL of you for making this election a success. I know y'all have worked very hard. FREEPERS ARE THE BEST!!!!!
Anyway, as promised, here are a few pictures from the FReep on Sunday. If I double-pinged anybody, I apologize. This was a long ping list!

I know that there are some good people in Arkansas. I just pray that their numbers will grow in the coming years. Keep up the good fight. It is not easy to live in a State that spawn the bent one.

Thanks for the photos. Y'all don't have any of parsy with the chocolates.?
I know the feeling of jubilation of the national victory, and yet a little dejected for the loss of an expected seat. There was one race in Vegas to unseat Shelly Berkeley in Congress and my candidate didn't make it. Maybe next time.

sweetliberty, thanks for the ping! I am so disappointed that Hutchinson didn't make it, neither did Posthumus up here in Michigan.
I know it's hard to take when everyone seems to bashing your home state but don't take it personally. We all know that there are a lot of patriots such as yourself down there fighting the good fight!
Good job on the freep! I love the sign about clinton puttin' the fun back in funerals LOL!

I personally think you people in Arkansas are to be congratulated for doing a good job. You still have a Republican governor and you have overcome a lot since the days of Clinton. People in other parts of the country just don't realize how entrenched the dems have been in Arkansas and other parts of the South. Look how long it took Texas to kick the rats out? And there are still pockets of rabid rats that just are too brainwashed or brain dead to even think of another point of view. The effort you and your friends put out made a difference and it started the ball rolling. The next election should be very interesting. Again pat yourselves on the back, you done good.

I'd like to thank each of you- those known to me, and those unknown- who helped cause what the radio hosts are dubbing "The Earthquake..."

Thanks for the ping. This was a great thread and so are the photos of the spirited, involved FReepers "FReeping the Creep". Sorry to hear y'all are catching grief from some fellow FReepers.... on which thread would one find that stuff ? LOL.
Don't be discouraged. I live in a state that was once one of the most corrupt in the country. We are cleaning it up but we have much yet to do. In October our former 4 term governor Edwin Edwards, his son and several of their cronies went to Federal prison as did the Insurance Commissioner. BTW, I probably don't need to say this but ... they were all democrats. :) Edwards had been investigated for years and indicted twice before but they had never been able to convict him. The FBI, local, state and U.S. Attorneys General never gave up and eventually they were able to make a solid case against him and his associates. That is not the end, however, just two months ago, the current Commissioner of Agriculture, another democrat, was indicted on numerous counts. That Louisiana is the poorest state in the union is due in no small measure to decades of corrupt politicians... democrats all.
On December 7th we plan to put an end to the career of another product of that old democrat machine by sending Mary Landrieu into retirement and Suzi Terrell to Washington. So, don't let the whiners get you down and don't give up. Arkansas can turn it around and y'all had the good sense to reelect Huckaby.

Great job, you guy. I loved your signs. Thanks for the ping.
What you have said is so true. You have started your long uphill battle against the corrupt Rats, and you will eventually prevail. You are so right in committing yourselves to hammering with the grass roots organization. Good luck, fellow patriots.

What happened to your wonderful Governor, Mike Huckabee? Was he re-elected yesterday?

Sweetliberty, I worked my a$$ off yesterday at the precinct. The precinct that I was a manager in is predominantly black and until 2000 was one of the most corrupt in the state.
We had one major incident from the democratic side, the other was caused by a republican watcher (he ticked me off so much, I'm still mad about it.)

Thank you, Arkansas Freepers! You'll win over a majority of the state, yet. Congratulations to Gov. Mike Huckabee. Arkansas residents re-elected the man who gave the voters a chance to voluntarily pay higher taxes. Go, Arkansas! (^:
