The Lowest of the Low Demacrat stunts: Your nominations please.
demac'RATS acting like 'RATS

After hearing about all the disgust and outrage over the Minnesota rally- no class festival, I started wondering if the Wellstone memorial was indeed, as several talk radio hosts have said, the lowest thing the demacrats have ever done.
So, in honor of the Wellstone rally/funeral I propose we have a Lowest of the Low demac'RATs in action contest. You can mention one event or several, and you can go back as far as you want. For starters, I would like to nominate Hillary, standing on the senate floor, holding up the newspaper with "Bush knew" on its cover, and trying to insinuate he, our President, knew about the 9/11 attacks and did nothing, that he just let people die. I would also like to give a nod to the 2 demacRAT congressmen who, while we were starting to contemplate going to war with Iraq, actually went to Iraq, had a party with Saddam and told him how terrible our country was.. then they came back here and told us we don't need to worry about him (Saddam) having Nukes, chemical weapons exc.. cause he SAID he doesn't have any. Honorable mention goes to Jimmy Carter for going over to Cuba (a few months ago ), partying with Fidel, telling him(Castro) how terrible our country was , then coming back here and telling us we should model our health care system after Cuba's.
I'd like to see this list get really looooooooooooong. It's going to be a huge challenge to decide what is the lowest 'RAT trick. There is just so much to choose from. Have at it Freepers.

"endless defense of the Clinton's"
I think we will have to have a whole wing in the hall of shame for the Clinton's. I'd say in general the worst thing of the Clinton era was that they made people feel ashamed to be Americans. They made some of us forget how blessed we are to live here, and they stirred up anger and hate amongst different groups of Americans. Because of political correctness, people were afraid to freely express themselves. We are still suffering from this. Last but not least they corrupted the younger generation with moral indifference.

One of the so many to choose from was the booing and spiting on the Boy Scouts Honor Guard as they brought the flag in.
Help me here, wasn't that at a Repubblican Convention last election?

The lowest ofthe low is Trent Lott flying half way across the country for a "memorial service" and getting booed.
I believe there is no lower.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
You beat me too it and said it better than I would have. That is about as low as any political party in the US can get.
That's right down there with not counting the overseas miniltary vote in Florida while complaining that everyone's vote was not being counted.

That is nauseating. I bet McAuliff is behind that campaign--it seems to have his signature.

But they did for the children!
To: fly_so_free
Gosh, what an embarrassment of riches! Remember when Clinton used to turn Secret Service goons loose on people who asked him uncomfortable questions at the Town Hall meetings, early in his admin? How about getting the IRS to hassle the Heritage Foundation?
How about pushing walls down on children with military tanks, using gas on those children which was outlawed by the Geneva convention, all to "protect them from a child abuser who might be an icky fundamentalist Christian"
While we are outraged, we might take a moment to be rationally frightened. What will creatures like this do if they're in power again? The goalposts lower every year. We're just a few SC justices away from the death of the Constitution.

Spitting on the police color guard at the Dem rally in NY has to be on that list.

I need to nominate Dan Blather and Peter Jennings and the other main stream idiots for there indefensible behavior in the 1st hours after the 9/11 attacks. The Trade Towers had collasped, the Pentagon was in flames, Presdient Bush had briefly adressed the nation. He was on Air Force 1 and had been out of contact with us (because of what has been recently revealed to be an equipment failure), but those dirty rotten scum bags tried to insinuate that Bush was hidding, or running in fear. I will never forget that, ever. Not just because of President Bush, either. It was a hideous awful thing to do to the American people. Here we are under attack and those pigs are trying say our leader is a coward. If I had been in their (Rather or the other moron's) presence when this happened, I would have slapped them across the face. They have never apologized either.

I agree that Seigleman's (I call him Singleterm) ads are pretty disgusting, but I nominate the recurring and increasing vote fraud perpetrated by the rats. I am absolutely convinced that they generated 4-5 million votes in 2000, and believe it may well be worse next week. They have been doing this for decades.

To: Freemyland
How about these two:Bill/Hill?

Elian Gonzalez, survives the ship wreck, comes here ,tastes freedom, only to have it taken away on the saturday morning before Easter Sunday. A machine gun pointing at the face of 5 yr old while he is dragged kicking and screaming back to communist Cuba, and the dems telling us how Cuba is just as great as we are. Nothing to worry about. That was a classic.
(On a totally sarcastic note: I've often thought about making the infamous picture of Elian with the gun in his face into a campaign poster and captioning it: Demacrats caring for "the children")

Remember when Clinton used to turn Secret Service goons loose on people who asked him uncomfortable questions at the Town Hall meetings...Excellent post.
Remember the guy who asked Clinton if he (Clinton) could name one nation which had taxed itself into prosperity? The guy just happened to be due for an IRS full cavity search audit immediately thereafter.

Bubba's Recess appointments
To: fly_so_free
Roughly in order:
- Clinton's giving away nuclear secrets to gain campaign financing from China
- Hanoi Jane pretending to shoot down US aircraft on a visit to North Vietnam
- The general protection of Clinton during impeachment
- "Wag the dog" efforts by Clinton during impeachment
- The Jeffords switch
- James Byrd ad
- Hanging and pregnant chads as legitimate votes
- Blaming Bush for 9/11
- Nearly every election held in Chicago
- Bonier denouncing Bush's efforts on Iraqi from Bagdad
- the Wellstone "memorial"
- Blaming the Wellstone children for the Wellstone "memorial"
- Al Gore acceptance of contributions from Buddist monks
- Holding up the nomination of Federal Judges because of their political affiliation
- The Toricelli-Lautenberg switchero
- Gray Davis' passage of recent destructive legislation to secure liberal votes
- Hillary becoming a Yankee "fan" and subsequently a New York senator
Note that most of these are recent. A sign that the dirty tricks are getting worse

I'm going with a classic. Since Al Gore is responsible for yanking me out of my apolitical state and turning me into a broken-glass republican, I nominate his 2000 post-election I-lost-so-I'm-going-to-insist-that-the-rules-be-changed-to-make-me-president-anyway stunt, and the insistence of the 'rats ever since then to claim that somehow it was Bush who tried to cheat, despite every single recount confirming Bush's win.
Also, the sheer gall of the democrats to complain that the Republicans didn't want to count every vote while simultaneously the 'rats were throwing out the military votes as well as pretending that counting disqualified ballots in four 'rat counties while ignoring disqualified ballots in 63 Republican counties somehow constituted a full, fair, and accurate count of the votes.
Rick Kahn's request of the Republicans is a great example of the democrat attitude about elections. The Republicans have a duty to step aside and allow the democrats to "win" elections because it's the right thing to do.

How about Tom Dascle's snit on the floor of the senate, demanding President Bush apologize for something he never said it the first place. Senator Byrds yelling like a senile nut case about the same thing Daschle had wrong and, to put the icing on the cake, the senate goes home , and we STILL don't have a Homeland security bill.
