Some observations while making this table... I think he stuck around after the 5 shooting during the day on 10/3/02 to see all the action and then headed south out of the area (or went home to DC) and got his last victim for the day right on the edge DC and Montgomery Co in the evening of 10/3/02. I think he stayed in the area after the 5 shootings so he could watch and learn from shooting scenes and how police reacted. I think the reason he may have not been caught after the last shooting on Friday is he was there watching all the action afterward. I am starting to believe that his killings will be farther apart in miles. I think he is traveling to an area and checks it out for a day or two and then strikes. I think he stays in the area where his last strike was for at least 1 night and moves on to another area to case it out before he strikes again. The first 5 killings was to get the attention of the media, police, and public. He killed 5 that morning because I think he expected more of a reaction from the media after his first kill of the man in the Grocery Store Parking Lot, since he did not get it then... he killed the 5 people the next morning. There also may be a race pattern... starting with #6 (caucasian) and then a african american, then back to a caucasian (see table above).
