8th Killing Linked to Sniper

A Philadelphia man was fatally shot at a Spotsylvania gas station as a state police trooper investigated a traffic accident across the street, launching a massive and frustrating search for the gunman and sparking fears that the sniper stalking the Washington area had struck again.

Law enforcement sources said last night that ballistic evidence conclusively links the shooting of Kenneth Bridges, 53, to the sniper who has killed seven others and wounded two in the Washington region – each time slipping away undetected.

The police also admitted looking for white vans is kind of impossible, since they're are extremely common, just like how I said in another thread. Here

Another factor here is that the driver (a woman) of the white van that was spotted driving away in a rush may simply have been driving away in fear of getting shot..
