Speaking from the Roosevelt Room at the White House, President Bush thanked the House for passing an Iraq resolution by a vote of 296-133. Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle shocked many today as he crossed party lines that he had drawn a few weeks ago, and decided to back the President's plan. The White House also announced today that Bush will be traveling a lot between now and November 5th, traveling to key election states such as South Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan and Florida. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

You know what occured to me today, too? They want us to believe Alec Baldwin & Babs and the other Hollyweirdos are SMART and Bush is STUPID? This followed the thought of Reagan being discredited for being an actor, but we're all supposed to take other (democrat) actors seriously. . . words fail me . . .

Condi herself has said she doesn't like politics and only her respect for George W. Bush brought her to Washington Which is precisely why we admire her so much, not just that she is a cool and insightful and tough thinker and hard worker.
And if someone showed her polls showing she was the only one in 2008 who could beat Hillary Clinton, do you think she would endure the race for the sake of her country?
I know Powell had no stomach for running for office. But Condi is a tougher bird when it comes to doing what is necessary.

Me too, Mtngrl, Mo1 did a fantastic job on every thread, and I saw our RWP on the fund raising thread often too. Thanks to all who made it so successful. Good job!
BTW Mtngrl, I got a hat like yours at the fair yesterday!

You are so right! It is exciting to watch him and to anticipate how he will handle the challenges to come!

Be sure and buy a copy of Bill Sammon's book, "Fighting Back". Very good and a fast read about Bush's handling of the war on terrorism.
